The Best Inbox Management Tool, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE
Pros
It turns your inbox or team inbox into a fully-functioning ticket system without making clients feel like they're stuck in a ticket system. It's much more modern, seamless, and intuitive than most ticket systems and has countless helpful features to make daily tasks easier. We can integrate multiple calendars and inboxes into Missive which helps us so much. We used to have to have multiple logins and sites for different calendars and inboxes and now they are all in one place. The price is also extremely reasonable considering this product saves us countless hours and troubleshooting.
Cons
There are very, very few features that we would like to see from Missive that are not already there. The dev team is aware of these features and works diligently to implement them. Updates happen frequently, smoothly, and are always relevant.

FrontReasons for Switching to Missive
Front is way too expensive when you realize Missive exists. Front utilizes the irritating pushy sales workflow where they try to have you meet with multiple sales people over many meetings and convince you to go with them. This is probably why they're ridiculously expensive. Missive treats us like humans who just want a product that works well and they are happy to try to please at all stages.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Missive can replace a number of other tools for small teams
I use Missive every day, all day long. I had another team member at one point and Missive made collaboration super simple and the learning curve was not steep at all.
Pros
I'm a 1-person operation and for me Missive makes email and customer relationship management easy. I don't need a separate CRM to run my business. Missive helps me accomplish most, if not all, of the tasks I had previously delegated to my CRM.
Cons
The ability to add custom integrations to Missive is huge, but I'd love to see more tutorials and examples for creating custom integrations.

Best of the best customer support system.
A wonderful, mature product that does what it says on the tin. I researched all the competition and this came out on top.
Pros
It works exactly like a customer centric email support system should. The after sales support is superb. API access is is fantastic. GPT integration. Lots more.
Cons
Probably the thing I least like is the pricing, but it's fair.

It's a very good service but can be improved with QoL changes.
It's fairly easy to use, and email rules and labels seem to be very customizable but there are some shortcomings that can be improved.
Pros
The ease of use, labels, setup, canned responses and different team inboxes.
Cons
Better email thread organization for easier printing. Also, the inability of being unable to copy the text from the email print screen in Missive.

Missive for shared inbox management
We've been looking to shift to a collaborative email and messaging platform that allows our team to manage communications more effectively especially now that we are using a shared email address for our team. I appreciate the shared inbox, real-time chat, and task management feature that they have. However, I find the learning curve a bit challenging initially but after a few weeks into using it, we fully shifted to using it from our old email software. We use the paid version of it in our work.
Pros
Ability to organize and manage different team emails
Cons
Spam emails still infiltrate my inbox despite setting up a rule to detect and delete spams.

One of the bests tools for colaborative teams!
At first it was somewhat overwhelming to go from the usual Gmail to Missive, but once you understand how it works, it becomes your best ally; especially if you have to coordinate teams.
Pros
The ease of use and the ability to coordinate the work of the entire team; being able to postpone sending emails, assign emails to others and provide timely and timely follow-up to each client.
Cons
By the time everything's just fine! We love Missive and we are confortable with the usage.

Missive is an Absolute Gamechanger
Phenomenal! The product is absolutely terrific, and they are putting out updates at a quick pace constantly looking for ways to make it even better. Customer Service is probably the best that I have experienced in regards to software. They are quick to respond to help and recommend solutions.
Pros
Absolutely everything. It's super easy to use, makes team collaboration and communication easier than ever, truly a 1 inbox for everything (email, SMS, social media messaging, and more).
Cons
I have no cons to list, Missive has exceeded my expectations in every category.

One software to rule them all
Thanks to Missive, we’ve been able to use only 2 softwares for all our communications.
Internal communication (team members interacting with each others) is done through Basecamp, and external communication (team members interacting with customers, suppliers, media, bizdev, etc.) is done through Missive.
This really helps to keep our focus at the right place in the correct software.
Disclaimer: We still have to use other softwares to send our newsletter, for example, but that wasn’t the point in my review.
Pros
The team inbox feature is simply incredible. It allows our team to chat between responses to our customers or suppliers to make sure we say the correct things and that we have all the information needed before sending those emails. It’s much better than Zendesk for the workflow and the fact that Missive doesn’t break all the time (like it happened to us on Zendesk back then, before we switched).
As a small business, Missive allows us to centralize all our “external communication” (Customer service, BizDev, Media/Press contacts) into one software, instead of scattering our team between a help desk, a CRM, and some other tools and software to make it all work. We have different e-commerce websites, so we can actually have all our projects and different emails on the same software for a single price.
Cons
Since this isn’t a help desk, there are no “ticket numbers”, where everything has a clear number attached to it (Customer request ticket #1001, #1002, etc.). But that’s understandable because Missive isn’t built only for being a help desk.
What I also like the least about Missive is the lack of hierarchical structure implemented in the pre-built responses our team created. It’s already great (the search tool for searching through your quick responses is already great, but the lack of visual structure can be hard for beginner employees when you have 50+ quick responses for every possible situation when dealing with customer service. This is something that I miss from Zendesk, when we could separate our quick responses (aka macros) into different folders/categories

IntercomReasons for Choosing Missive
The cost, the fact zendesk was breaking constantly. We never knew if customers were getting our messages via Messenger because Zendesk kept breaking and unsyncing with our facebook page every 2-3 months. Missive is just $15/user/month for all its features. It’s amazing compared to others.Switched From

The Ultimate Team Productivity Solution
Excellent. The only reason I left was because our law firm upgraded our practice management and billing solution and that solution already integrated email and chat.
Pros
The ability to immediately bring in other team members into a conversation surrounding an email communication that was either sent or received. I also enjoyed the ability to edit another user's draft email in real-time as they are also working on it.
Cons
Because there are so many places where a conversation can happen (one-on-one chat, group chat, and in an email communication), conversations can get lost. To its credit, Missive has created a number of ways to keep these communications organized (the most effective of which would be to use organizational shared labels). But Missive lacks a robust search feature that allows you to conduct a filtered search (e.g., by thread, date, conversation, author, etc.), which makes it difficult to find things at times.

Powerful email collaboration client
Very pleasant, communication is excellent, they've answered our questions in an average of 20 mins for a reply. Very stable as well. Overall would recommend.
Pros
Lightning fast email client. It allows for deep collaboration in our office, easily managing each other's inboxes and keeping internal and external communications separate. Updates come regularly and always add something new to keep up with the pace.
Cons
There are features that I wouldn't say are missing, but are a bit hidden, like for example for multiple email signatures, you'd have to create an alias for each instead of like with gmail it has it's own section.

Do not miss it!
Overall, I highly recommend Missive to any team looking for a comprehensive and efficient shared inbox solution. Whether you are a small business, startup, or large corporation, Missive has everything you need to manage your communications and work collaboratively in one place.
Pros
What I like best about Missive is how it streamlines communication and collaboration within my team. No longer do we have to go back and forth between multiple email accounts and platforms, as Missive allows us to manage all of our shared inboxes in one place. The ability to assign tasks and messages to team members, as well as track progress and keep everyone on the same page, has greatly improved our workflow and productivity.
Cons
What I dislike about Missive is the limited integration options with other tools and platforms. However, this is a minor inconvenience in comparison to the many benefits that Missive provides.

Excellent! I'll never switch back.
Having recently implemented a shared inbox for customer service, we tried out a number of different products and Missive blew the others out of the water. While it took a few days to get used to, now that the team is more comfortable with it we're working more efficiently and have more time available for other activities.Everything is in one place, so we don't have to switch between different apps to communicate with our customers and with each other. It's far easier to distribute the work and make sure that the correct person deals with each topic. The customer experience has also improved as our customers get responses more quickly and from the correct person.
Pros
The collaboration capabilities that Missive has given our team continue to help us on a daily basis. Having everything in one place (email, shared email, chat, WhatsApp, social media) streamlines communication and helps stop people doubling up on work, leaving our team with more free time to work on other things. The integrations so far seem to work seamlessly, and I love how customizable the platform is. It's also great that I can jump from my computer to my phone, and I still have all the capabilities there.
Cons
The one thing I would say is that there was a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, and it took us a bit of time to get used to it. However, a lot of our initial misgivings were things that were easily solved through customization of the settings. Also, the customer support team has been great throughout the initial phase and have helped clear up any doubts we have had.

Perfect solution for our needs
Pros
We were searching for a bolt on to our G Suite that would help us triage emails that come in so we could either add to our ticket system so they could be processed or we could reply via email. The main thing was ensuring we didn't miss any contacts and that we weren't duplicating work. Missive allowed us to easily handle all forms of communications with our clients. They've continued to add several features (we're really enjoying the team inboxes!) and are exceptionally fast to respond when there are any issues that come up. We certainly value our relationship with the folks at Missive.
Cons
Most of what we've disliked has been initial preferences and not related to performance. We've adjusted to the workflows.
