Netsuite a great tool
NetSuite has been of great help in inventory and supply chain management. Being cloud-based, it can be accessed remotely. It has reduced time and effort for my team members, and overall enhanced the efficiency of the organization.
Pros
One of the finest products I have ever come across. It offers a wide range of features like e-commerce, inventory and supply chain management, CRM and financial management. Customer support is prompt and effective. It also has a user-friendly interface, and provides wide range of analytical tools.
Cons
Its pricing is on the higher side as compared to its competitors, making it unaffordable for micro and small enterprises. Otherwise, it is a great software.

Great Financial System to enable our Global Organization to work with multiple subsidiaries
These past 6 years using NetSuite has transformed our ability to work with our national entities. It has allowed us to provide better training, see their financial pictures, and be able to help troubleshoot issues in more streamlined manner.
Pros
Ability to see very quickly the financial picture of all of our entities in NetSuite. Also, it makes it so much easier for my team of Subject Matter Experts and Knowledge Specialists to be able to serve all of our entities since most processes are now harmonized.
Cons
Customizations can make the system very slow.

Don't waste your time. Look at another system like Odoo. Pay one fee and get full functionality...
My experience with NetSuite has been a nightmare, to say the least. We were sold on the promise of a fantastic, intuitive system that is completely customizable. What we got was a complicated system that requires a lot of duplication when it comes to assembly items, and poor customer service. You have to pay for every little feature you need. The only thing free is the run-around. Even though we paid for "Advanced Customer Support", I am still left with a list of 15 items that have not been resolved after paying around $10K for the Advanced Customer Support.
We are in the process of switching to Odoo because it is FAR more user-friendly and when you pay for Odoo, you get ALL of the features whether you need them or not. Odoo also includes FREE technical support. Why should you have to pay for help with the product you already pay for?
Pros
An in-depth system able to handle the needs of large companies with multiple locations
Cons
Overpriced. Poor customer service. It is not user-friendly for customizations.

Overly complicated and not the product for us.
This was a terrible experience from the get-go. Our CTO adopted NetSuite and it was clearly not the right choice from our business. It started with the lack of training. I think we had 2 training sessions over 6 months for the merchandising team. It slowed down the definition process of our catalog so that what used to take 10 minutes in the previous ERP took 3 hours. With many fields mapped to obscure auto index #s for definitions you had to build a decoder ring to keep them all straight. Basically everything we learned to do in Netsuite came from Google or YouTube. All of the menus were different depending on which role you had so cross-training between departments was impossible because people had to get to the same task via different paths. The filtering on reports was flawed and the Import/export menus kept so much history you had to scroll just to find the latest import/export only to be told it was still processing. The only rapid response you got from the team was when it was time to pony up another 250K for renewal. We probably had 5-6 different account people in charge of our account over the course of the 18 months we had the program. Just a terrible experience for us. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Pros
Lots of options to create reports and define items.
Cons
Very Difficult to integrate and overly complicated. It slowed down our overall processes and a lot of the logic did not make sense when defining items. It isn't good when they tell you to use a different program to help with the definition process. It is very expensive as well especially when the training is so poor that all you wind up using it for is glorified accounting.

NetSuite: Analysis, features for Cost-Efficacy
NetSuite has been very evidently useful in our analysis business. You are saving your average of forty percent when it comes to risk assessment because of the automated alerts and the new scoring system.
Pros
Affiliated continuous time integrated credit risk scoring that identifies possible risks right from customers and machines using algorithms based on current financial information and past payment records, respectively. The flexibility of the dynamic financial modeling that allows using scenarios for the risk assessment procedure, including several factors simultaneously in the model.
Cons
There are few opportunities to modify parameters determining risk evaluation at the level of a concrete client. The templates appropriating financial reporting require further flexibility in computing special risk. It may be possible to organize the multiple client assessments more efficiently by doing them in batches.

A great platform, if you have the use-case and resources to make it one.
We were a small to medium sized company sold on using Netsuite for a variety of our departments, from finance/accounts to customer support to project management. While it excels in the first area (sales/accounting) it really is not designed for the latter two. As a result you're left with a very expensive platform that is advertised to do anything and everything, but in reality requires a lot of work to be that jack-of-all-trades platform.
Pros
Depth of customization and ability to adapt to multiple use-cases. The system can be "Frankensteined" for a lack of a better word to do just about anything.
Cons
While it's very customizable, the interface itself is cumbersome, non-intuitive, and essentially requires an architect who is fully trained in Netsuite to get the most from it. If you don't have either a consultant or power user who can dedicate their time fully to Netsuite admin, you'll have a harder time getting the most from the product.

NetSuite: Easy to Love, Tough to Set Up
The onboarding was awful. Once we go up and running, the program worked very well, and enabled us to 3x our business during the pandemic. We were upgrading from Quickbooks, and it's no stretch to say that NetSuite was a critical component of our success.
Pros
Once acclimated to the NetSuite ecosphere, navigating most of the essential functions became fairly intuitive. There is a consistency across the system which makes it easy to learn new functions and reporting.
Cons
The onboarding process was brutal. I don't know if this was an unfortunate circumstance or if this is S.O.P. for Netsuite, but we rarely had the same contact for more than a month or two. It was incredibly difficult to get answers, and we eventually had to involve consultants to complete our setup.

NetSuite review from a finance professional
I am an end user and one of the company administrators for NetSuite.
Pros
Flexible, smart and adaptive ERP system. We have made it work for our business that is very niche, and we use it in all aspects of our business.
Cons
Can be clunky and is not as intuitive to use for those less familiar with technology. It is working on AI features which should assist with streamlining processes.

Time to automate various accounting processes which reduces manual data entry, minimizes errors and saves time allowing us to focus on more strategic financial activities.
Pros
Ease of accessibility for this tool has enabled real-time collaboration and flexibility for our business with remote teams from multiple locations. It can accommodate the growth of transactions, users and data volume without requiring significant hardware upgrades through its highly scalable features. Have highly dedicated security teams and infrastructure to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.

The most difficult project of my Professional life
It has been more difficult than I ever could have imagined. You fix one thing and it breaks another. In the end we wonder if the consolidation of systems was worth it. Right now my answer is it was not.
There is so much I would change if I was in charge at NetSuite. There really is potential for it to be good, but they would rather charge you a ton of money for some feature that is difficult to understand, and ignore your problems. The difference between the basic tier and the premium tier is 200,000 transaction lines to 2 million. So the value of 200,001 lines is the same as 2 million. That's ridiculous. They should have more tiers.
Pros
We like that we are using only one system for our accounting, fixed assets, sales, purchasing, inventory management, reporting.
There are some things that are easier than they were before for us.
Cons
This will be a long list. It's very frustrating to switch to an expensive system that cannot do what we thought it would be able to do, and has unexpected challenges that we just have to live with.
- Parts bin verification button, box down arrow check-mark icon thingy. It's too small to see, and too many clicks.
- Not able to batch print more than 100 invoices at a time. NetSuite does not care about this but its a huge deal when we have over 2000 invoices to download at once. We can easily miss 100.
- Invoices disconnect from sales orders if they are changed, leaving the sales order open again. Which leads to double billing because we are checking our open orders, trying to close them all.
- Internal invoices create a receivable. It would be so much easier if they just didn't at all.
- Credit memos are an afterthought. It's like we're the first company you've dealt with that does them.
- No negative quantities are allowed on sales orders so adding inventory back into stock requires a credit memo.
- The entire parts ordering process is so difficult for our parts people. You can't easily see how many you've sold in the past, you can't see how many your location already has on order, without flipping through screens. It's a cumbersome, slow , confusing process. The amount on order shows the amount for the entire company so it's totally useless. Then on the item receipt, we can't see the total dollar value per line so the guys are constantly receiving parts at the wrong dollar value, making AP's job really difficult. And since our developers cant fix it, and were on the basic service level tier, were basically told too bad, by an automated email from Oracle. It's so frustrating.
- We can't add more invoice info to customer statements. Info like unit numbers. The statement function in the system is essentially useless to us.
- Grey font on a white background in a small size that you cannot change. It's like Oracle said "let's make this as hard as possible for people with bad eyesight".
- Some lists that have lots of items we can select ALL, but others, you can only select one range at a time either 1 to 25 or 1 to 100. No rhyme or reason to it.
- The entire Item Receipt and Item Fulfillment process makes everything slow, and creates 3x more transaction lines. They are redundant. If we had known that every transaction line would appear on three different transactions every time, we would have known we were on the premium tier which would have cost more money and we wouldn't have chosen NetSuite. The basic level includes 200,000 transaction lines. So now we are over that number. This was dishonest from the sales process from the start. Now we are forced to pay an exorbitant amount to move up to the next tier. They held our system hostage for ransom.
- They don't give your developers free accounts! For us that meant we didn't have enough accounts for all our employees.
There's lots more but I think you get the point.

Not set up correctly/No customer service
It was terrible. I was passed to several different people. No one spoke to each other about my issues, and no one resolved any other than offering to charge me more for a new module that would fix everything.
Pros
I like the promise that it would have good reporting and customization.
Cons
was extremely dissatisfaction with the service and support provided by NetSuite over the past year. Unfortunately, my experience has been fraught with numerous issues, ultimately leading me to decide not to renew our contract.
From the outset, the implementation of NetSuite was handled incorrectly, causing significant disruptions to our business operations. Whenever we encountered an issue, the standard resolution offered was to purchase an additional module, which felt more like a sales strategy than a genuine effort to resolve our problems.
Moreover, the pricing structure for essential features such as payroll and profit and loss by jobs was not made clear upfront, leading to unexpected costs that strained our budget. Throughout our time with NetSuite, I found that no one seemed to have the necessary expertise to fix the issues we faced. Despite numerous requests to speak with supervisors, I was consistently told that our problems could be solved by spending more money, which was both frustrating and unacceptable.
Compounding these issues was the frequent turnover of our account manager, who changed four times within the year. This lack of continuity meant that no one had a clear understanding of our account history or ongoing issues, resulting in repeated explanations and a general lack of progress in resolving our concerns.
It is evident that the primary focus was on receiving payment rather than providing effective solutions and support. This approach has left us with a system that does not meet our needs and has caused considerable disruption to our operations.

NetSuite: A Game-Changer for Our Business Success
NetSuite has been essential to our business. It has streamlined our operations, making us faster and leaner while giving us a technological edge over our competitors. The seamless access and company-wide visibility it offers are truly irreplaceable. Overall, I believe NetSuite has been a key factor in our continued success.
Pros
NetSuite is a fantastic program that stands out for its flexibility and versatility. It allows you to manage your entire company seamlessly through an easy-to-use platform. The access and control it provides over various business functions make it an invaluable tool for streamlining operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you're handling finances, inventory, or customer relationships, NetSuite makes it all manageable from one central hub.
Cons
One challenge with NetSuite is the overall initial costs, particularly when you don’t fully grasp the value it brings right away. Additionally, its immense versatility can sometimes be overwhelming, almost like falling into a rabbit hole with countless features and options. To get the most out of it, it's crucial to have strong upfront control and a well-thought-out plan for implementation. Without that, it’s easy to get lost in all the possibilities.

Transitioning to NetSuite as the business grows.
Pros
NetSuite offers true MRP for the Manufactuirng company that has outgrown spreadsheets or other informal processes. With the added integration of CRM, Projects, etc. it is possible to migrate several systems into one integrated solution.
Cons
Migrating from another financial system is difficult and tedious. Garbage in - garbage out so it must be done well. If you are just starting a new business, it might be worth thinking of the future and implementing something like NetSuite from the start rather than starting with something simpler and then migrating.

NetSuite in a Nutshell
My overall experience with NetSuite has been positive. I find it to be a robust, user friendly ERP that allows for customization with powerful tools built in as well as many third party integrations and apps available.
Pros
I can honestly say that what I like the most about NetSuite is the ability to customize it to my needs. It works great out of the box, but as time change and department need information in various formats, NetSuite allows me the ability to create custom form, field, and records that I can tailor to directly meet my internal customer demands.
Cons
There is not too much that I do not like about NetSuite. I would have to say that I wish some of the default pages, such as Invoice or Order Approval, provided me a route to customize them.

Pros

best for accounting related needs!
I can clearly say that it can help employees and companies when it comes on accounting related works. this software is powerful and easy to use.
Pros
I like that it has basic features that really helps me on reports, billing, invoicing, customer support and more. You can also customize everthing so it is worth it.
Cons
It has a higher cost compared to others. when it comes on using this software, it needs a fast internet connection for you to be able to use it smoothly. also, better add more features for better usage.
