About CenterEdge Advantage

CenterEdge Advantage is a facilities management solution primarily targeting the entertainment industry. It offers multiple features including online sales and ticketing, a point of sale (POS) system and loyalty and rewards programs. CenterEdge Advantage helps drive more customers to users' facilities and improve web revenue by directly integrating with local applications, selling barcoded tickets and supporting web-based box office ticketing. The tool also supports online reservation lists, POS devices and online payments using credit cards. CenterEdge Advantage provides integrated reporting and time clock features and helps create and distribute schedules to employees. The customer loyalty module helps capture customer information, export bulk emails and reward customers with points and discounts based on their spending or visit histories. Integrations include QuickBooks. CenterEdge Advantage caters to the management and ticketing needs of amusement parks, restaurants and bars, museums, theaters and cinemas, zoos and water parks. Support is offered via phone, email and an online ticket.

CenterEdge - Easy for employees

Pros

As a former employee at Launch Trampoline Park that used CenterEdge, it was a great software for us employees. It was very simple to use and one day of training would be enough. Easy to sell tickets but also have a event planner system that made it simple and easy to book birthday parties.

Cons

Some times it was a little limited and would freeze which became frustrating.

All-in-one Excellence

Pros

CenterEdge Software has allowed us to communicate throughout the facility for ease of use for our team members. This is achieved from the time an event is booked to the time the event is onsite and the event is over.

Cons

While there are certain features that we have been used to in software that we previously used, CenterEdge has been fantastic with addressing our needs and has the ability to build into the software for future use.

Only good for restaurants NOT good for group business

The support staff is easily accessible, but the software itself is not at a usable point.

Pros

I don't have many pros because this software from a group sales and event stand point is awful!!
Pros that I have encountered:
--interface for the restaurant allows for easier menu changes
--add-ons for parties are easy to add into packages before and during event
--email template features make personalizing emails convenient when sending follow-ups
--splitting tips is convenient
--adding discounts to events after they are set-up initially is convenient

Cons

Not sure why this company has launched this software for group business. They have either NEVER worked with groups and parties or they just don't care that the staff does not have the tools needed.
--No reservation list that is easily accessible, only available if you run a report that would only be a snapshot of that moment.
--Most fun centers are busiest on the weekends yet the calendar view has Saturday and Sunday much smaller that the other days of the week
--Nothing that shows the difference between reservations with deposits or without on the calendar view
--Nothing that shows when the group has been confirmed from the calendar view
--The calendar view is a HORRIBLE way to do group business.
--On the reservation email, there is not a way to add the details of their event such as the package details
--adding the birthday child requiring the actual birthday to determine age is HARD because if the party is before the actual birthday the age is different than what they are celebrating
--requiring the last name of children is uncomfortable due to so many divorced parents that have remarried. Should have the option to add but NOT required. Guess the developers all all perfect families that have never divorced and had parents that remarried.

The scheduling module don't allow for the employees to receive an email of their weekly schedule.
No way to send an email to entire staff to alert them of company information

CenterEdge Software - For when you want to succeed with a good team behind you

Overall we have had very good experiences with CenterEdge. The people are wonderful and the software has a solid foundation with room for growth and the industry changes. It's very reassuring to be working with a company that strives to not just be a player in the industry, but help others succeed. From sponsoring learning opportunities, to hosting their own CenterEdge has shown their commitment to success.

Pros

Easily the best part of signing on with CenterEdge software has been the people and support. We have been working with CenterEdge since 2016 and in that time I have had only 3 times that where I wouldn't rank my support as Good or Excellent and every time it was made right after the fact. That's also roughly 1% of my interactions with CenterEdge across the board. From trainings, support questions, implementation requests CenterEdge has really given us a good experience. The software itself has been stable and easy to use, with the newer features integrating well and changes have been pretty seamless.

Cons

Our facility is a Family Entertainment Center, Trampoline Park, Water Park, Hotel, Quick Service Restaurant, Full Service Restaurant, and Convention Center. CenterEdge does a lot but it doesn't do it all. The areas that we either use a different software for, or are very seriously considering a different software for include - the Full Service Restaurant, Hotel, the Quick Service Restaurant (to condense operations with the full service), and our meetings and weddings.

Centeredge is the BEST software company I have ever dealt with.

I cannot say enough about how great Centeredge has been. We do not mind paying for their software because it works beautifully, we can customize it to exactly what we need, and they support it wonderfully.

Pros

Their tech support is probably what I like most about this software. We are power users. When I have to call customer support it's because I've created a tier 2 or tier 3 mess. Their team respects me, and when I stump their people, they follow up regularly and in a timely fashion.

Cons

If I absolutely have to put something I guess I'd say that the software is complicated (as all powerful software is) and takes some time to learn. But I'd prefer to leave this section blank because Centeredge is better than Microsoft, Adobe, and every other software company I send money too.
