A Better Option for Small Business DXP
My experience starts and ends with the team. The team at Expresia is phenomenal. They are about getting you precisely what you're looking for, and are continually adding new "out-of-the-box" features to support as many options as possible.
Pros
The thing I like most about Expresia is that there is a TON that comes out of the box, but there is also the ability to customize important things that can be added on. The platform is capable of doing all the things my old platform couldn't (SquareSpace), and the people behind the scenes are super helpful.
Cons
There was some re-learning I had to do with the interface of the platform, but it wasn't that significant. Now, I love the concept of things like Content Playlists!

Challenging UX for an admin
Pros
Not my preference for website host/development.
Cons
I find it hard to edit things myself without reaching out to support. There seems to be some bugs when I make updates or sometimes it is impossible to find where to edit content/image etc. I just find the whole set up difficult to use and difficult to customize.

First Impresions
Expresia is great, I mean it is really easy to use as a developer, and it gives a very great value to your clients because you can give them a whole platform to manage their content without needing to hire a technical team. They offer a great variety of options which may be a little difficult to understand at the beginning, but the support team is really fast.
Pros
It is really easy to implement and deploy. I think that creating a landing page takes just a couple of hours, the syntax of handlebars is really easy to remember and it works perfectly fine.
When you're trying to develop more complex features, it could be a little difficult at the beginning because the whole platform has a wide variety of options, but the support team answers really really fast.
Cons
I think that there are some improvement areas for example in the tutorials, some sections are a unordered and in the documentation, it's a little difficult to understand if you are doing your first steps. I also think that there should be a documentation for the features of the platform, some features are mind-blowing once you understand what they do, but you have to figure it out and they are vaguely mentioned in the documentation, for example, the categories, the dynamic data models, post handlers, etc

I usually used WordPress for my websites, but after I met Expresia I don't change it for nothing in the world.
Pros
Expresia have it all. I can manage every aspect of my website within the backend panel. With the power of GIT branches there is no need to use FTP. By the way, everything is included in the licence price.
Cons
The learning curve of using Expresia could be slow sometimes. It depends on your experience as a developer.

the ease of creating dynamic pages, once you have mastered the methodology of the tool, everything becomes super simple.
Cons
Documentation, there's a good step by step to follow and create a project using a bootstrap template, and there's a lot of other documentation to follow, but there's no like a technical documents, that explain in detail the structure, the properties of all objects that Expresia manages on the background.
