A Google search for Drawings
Pros
To create less mistakes, we created PGs (Process Guides) by referencing past successful similar cases.
Even new guys can easily search for similar drawings, letting them create PGs based on them as references. This means that other veteran employees don't need to directly educate them on PGs created by them, as new employees can learn the methods of PG creation on their own.
Cons
It would be great if the system could optimize searches based on similar past searches.
Hoping for better usability when searching and viewing differences in similar drawings. If the system reads drawings as 3D shapes, it'd be really helpful if it could show more accurate differences regardless of how the drawings were scanned or in PDF format.

Expanding the Utilization of Drawings
Specifically, we have seen a significant improvement in operational efficiency and cost reduction.
New features are being released one after another, so we expect the scope of utilization to expand even further in the future.
We are considering using the system not only in the purchasing and design departments, but also in other departments.
Pros
The similarity search has contributed greatly to our cost reduction activities by allowing us to select appropriate suppliers and link purchasing information.
The OCR search has also improved the searchability of drawings, which has greatly reduced the time previously spent 'looking for drawings'.
Cons
Revisions, tags, and remarks need to be manually entered.

Improves our efficiency!
Pros
For drawing management, being able to search for items such as shape and tags that other systems cannot search for allows for much smoother use. In the future, it seems that we'll be able to improve this through price verification and adding defect information.
Cons
There are some quirks with the functionality:
When logging in for the first time, you're prompted to register a password from the password change screen. It's only the first time, but was a bit confusing.
I'd like more permission control.
Some drawings that appear similar are not actually very similar when using the similarity search, depending on how many similar drawings we have stored.
Enhancement of the difference display function. Even a slight misalignment results in the entire content being treated as a difference.
Addition of upload functionality for basic information.

The software makes finding info easier, and lets us improve our workflows
Pros
I'm really happy with the easy to use UI, and they do regular updates. The support we've received during implementation from customer success has been super helpful in getting everyone on board.
Cons
I find it a bit difficult to understand the detailed specifications of the search function. Also, while the service is supposed to be used along with our internal management system, it lacks the ability to integrate with our functions like APIs, forcing us to rely on unstable RPA for tasks like entering information. I hope these areas will be improved.

W love the similar drawing search
Pros
Because the new hires are not quite up to speed on reading drawings yet, using drawer lets them to find similar ones quickly,
Cons
Since we often search by drawing number, it would be helpful if we could enter any character in the middle of the drawing number instead of aligning it to the left when inputting.

Search tool for drawings
Pros
1) Searching has become very easy and quick.
2) Finding similar drawings has really boosted productivity.
3) Being able to link order info to drawings means we can look up multiple things all in one place with CADDi DRAWER.
Cons
1) If we could narrow down the search categories, I think it would make the search results more accurate.
2) It would be easier to use if they could expand the sorting options.

An easy-to-use system for knowledge accumulation!
Pros
I typically handle design work and often find myself needing to search for drawings. In the past, looking for drawings used to take up a lot of my time because I was mostly searching on memory. However, thanks to the keyword search and similar shape search features of Drawer, I can find old drawings a lot faster. This system has definitely made me more efficient.
Cons
The price point depends on how many drawings are in the company. We are currently only using Drawer in the production dept., but I'd like to see it used by Sales and other teams.

An Essential Tool for the Purchasing Department
Pros
The CADDi DRAWER Application Support Department is working with us to help us establish the use of CADDi DRAWER within the company. Our requests are also reflected in the software as they emerge in updates. The speed of this process is also very fast. Six months have passed since the introduction of CADDi DRAWER. Thanks to them, CADDi DRAWER has become an indispensable item for our purchasing staff.
Cons
Difference analysis and search for similar drawings from punch pictures could use slight improvement because of drawing complexity. In the future, purchasing operations will change dramatically if it becomes possible to provide quotations from DRAWER and recommendations for ordering vendors and ordering unit prices.

A useful tool for streamlining design and procurement.
Pros
With similarity search, we can check if costs make sense and find
reusable parts, which helps us cut down on making new drawings and estimate
costs better.
Cons
Doing image searches for similar stuff is tough, especially with 3D
captures. It'd be super helpful if we could highlight specific balloon
codes in assembly drawings like we do with differential functions for
easier checking.

A Convenient Tool That Makes Research Easy and Accessible
It serves as a starting point for searching information on past order records, production records of programs, and estimated pricing.
Pros
Designed with very user-friendly operability, the search and display responses are excellent, minimizing stress for users.
Cons
While there are user-related issues, the lack of seamless integration, association, and collaboration with other information makes CADDi DRAWER fall short of being a necessary tool. Without addressing this, there is a lack of cost-effectiveness and satisfaction.

Important tool for efficiency and uniformity
Pros
Search results are based on the similarity of character strings and shapes. This is important for our company's drawings, which often have similar shapes due to subtle differences in shape or different numbering systems between departments.
Cons
The basic UI is easier to use than our previous drawing management system, and if we could have traced back the sub-numbers, we would have been able to migrate almost all of our drawings to CADDi DRAWER.

Essential for Working Efficiently
Pros
Using Drawer, you can approach drawings easily. It takes no time at all to search, and the results can be checked immediately. The results can also be quickly referred to in a similar way. I realize how much less stressful it is to be free from the hassle of having to open each drawing.
Cons
You cannot currently sort during the drawing search. This is unfortunate, as sorting allows for a variety of approaches to search results. In addition, it can be difficult to check drawings on mobile devices.

A pretty helpful tool
Pros
The search and extraction process for related component parts has gotten way faster, freeing up more time to prepare reports.
Cons
Improving the Excel output for search results would be useful.
It'd be cool if we could zoom in and out simultaneously when displaying the original drawing and similar ones. And down the road, I'd love a feature that uses AI to link different info and generate analysis results based on our searches.
