Microsoft Makes Security Easy!
Overall the experience has been great. We love the added security, the usability, and password management features. Our staff are comfortable using the platform and find it beneficial.
Pros
I like how easy to use the platform is. Microsoft enables our staff to manage passwords, securely log in using the authenticator, and gives our company an extra level of comfort knowing we are secure.
Cons
I like everything about the platform to be honest. I have used other authenticators that over-complicated the process, and impacted our HR team by receiving many inquires and questions.

Extremely dissappointed
This authenticator has recently been introduced to our company security. It is difficult and complicated to use, that's of course if you can get it to work properly at all. It has now rendered the majority of our functions useless as no one can access required applications. How on earth anyone can rate it high is beyond me. It constantly puts the user in a never ending loop of asking for the verification number but not opening the box to enter it. This has now become the worst introduction to a workplace I have ever had the misfortune to be a part of. Myself and my colleagues are now even more frustrated and unable to perform tasks. A totally useless addition to a system that was once productive.

Best second protection.
My overall experience with Microsoft Authenticator is good I think this is a really good protection system .
Pros
I like that the Microsoft Authenticator is used for many things. I had to use it during the pandemic so that I could get my Unemployment. I had to use it everytime I had tried to use my phone or I was on a computer.
Cons
Sometimes when you didn't get it right you had to keep resting your password or you had to wait until the next day so that you could speak to someone.

My overall experience with Microsoft Authenticator has been great, Ever since we adopted remote work full-time, it has helped us with password management and protection from all our accounts. This has helped us know if someone else is trying to log on to one of our accounts without permission or without our knowledge and helps us protect ourselves and the data and information on the accounts and sites we use. This has to be one of the best security investment tools if you deal with multiple accounts and sites daily.
Pros
What I like the most about Microsoft Authenticator is Password Management. Since most people have adopted remote working, devices, and information is vulnerable to cyber threats and hacking, and to protect myself and my team, I have installed Microsoft Authenticator to help me manage my passwords and to know where and when someone logs into any of my accounts that I have synced with Microsoft Authenticator.
Cons
Sometimes scanning the QR code might be tricky and one might fail to log in to their accounts if they lose their phone.

after setting it up if you lose your original device it was installed on its VERY hard to get it to work again, ESPECCIALLY if the email that was used was hacked and unrecoverable

We have been using the Microsoft Authenticator application and feature in Office 365 for years to secure our logins. It was worked reliably and has enabled us to be compliant. It is easy to manage for administrators and users have had no issue setting up.
Pros
We are able to enforce the users Authentication with Microsoft Authenticator. It works at securing our user sign ins with the mobile app they use to confirm the authentication process. It is easy to manage from the Office 365 Administrator console.
Cons
The single sign on feature can be difficult for it to work with other applications. The support from Microsoft and the product is more costly than other options.

Using Microsoft Authenticator to provide security to your work data
The application overall is good, fast response to send authentication for signing in but the worst about it is that even if you try register the same number on a different mobile device, the notification still goes through the previously registered mobile even if the application is deleted from that mobile until this is reset via the administrator.
Pros
This application is good in providing strong security from having your work data vulnerable and stolen or prevents hackers from accessing your precious data by using the multifactor authentication to approve any sign in attempt.
Cons
Once you lose access to your mobile, you lose the power to approve sign in or deny any sign-in because that notification is sent straight to the mobile registered, even if the number is now used on a different cellphone mobile. This means if you either lose your cellphone or gets damaged, you get locked out of your work access.
