To keep an eye on your best asset: time.
I use Tick together with my work team to calculate times and deadlines and to be able to integrate different tasks of a project in the same place. Delay notices and time control are some of the best tools I know. 100% recommendable.
Pros
The best thing about this software is that it is simple to use, effective, intuitive, and modern. Time can be tracked from many different devices. It is very useful for managing project task times.
Cons
At the moment, I don't find weaknesses in this software. They are updating the system periodically. You can see the work on it.

Switching from Toggl to Tick
We made the move to Tick because Toggl didn't provide an easy way to track the progress of a project or task. With Tick, we're able to see this, to an extent, while tracking time. However, this only shows up *after* you've "entered" time. So, there isn't a way to view the "estimated" time budget, factoring in the timer that's currently running. It would be a huge, AMAZING, help to be able to see this in REAL time is not at the end of the day, when I've submitted my timers and have already gone over time budget by several hours.
Additionally, Toggl has a desktop app that works really well'and is native. Tick's app isn't really an app at all, it's a "mini browser" that refreshes every time you open it from the taskbar. Sometimes I'm naming a timer, and a notification pops up and closes Tick, or I need to navigate away for a second, and when I come back, it refreshes'losing all of my information. Toggl's desktop app also reminds you to track time, when your timer isn't running, during user designated hours (ie between 9:00am and 6:00pm, if I don't have a timer running it'll remind me periodically to remember to track time).
In general, Tick's design is mediocre at best. If it wasn't for the easier-to-view time budget feature, we wouldn't be using Tick in fact we're considering switching because of the lack of other features. A redesign is long over due.
Another down fall of Tick, is the fact that time can't be inputted based on time of day. For example, I forgot to start my timer after lunch, but I know I started working around 1:00 pm and then switched tasks around 2:48, and then switched back at 3:32 noon of which was logged. It would be much easier to log time-based on hours of the day, like Toggl does. But in other circumstances, it's helpful to be able to just put in a specified amount of time. Plus, the hours of day allow us to track our employees and see exactly when during the day they weren't clocking time. This is especially helpful with remote employees. In fact, before we switched to Toggle, I was able to find out that an employee wasn't really working when he said he was, or was padding their numbers. But, with the current Tick setup this is nearly impossible to pin-point.
If you guys want to consider a redesign, we'd love to work with you. Check us out: www.steadfastdesignfirm.com
Pros
Time budget tracking right in the time tracker.
Cons
Doesn't have a good, easy to use interface.
Time budgets are visible or represented until timers are "entered" almost defeating the purpose of showing them in the timer in the first place.
Doesn't have a native desktop app, only a sorry excuse for "something".
Time can't be inputted based on time of day.

Tick is good. Saves time, energy and gives a more efficient and profound results. I treasure Tick.
Pros
Tick integrates with other tools so easily and blends with the working environment super well. Managing time generally has improved my personal life bringing enjoyment in everything I do since I do it at the right time not at the expense of other activities. Exporting time entries is quite easy which makes invoicing simple and achievable.
Cons
Very profound and extremely fast. Tick's benefits weigh more higher. I don't find anything bad about it. It's performance is good.

Great project tracking!
Pros
Love that I can have multiple projects under a single client. Love that you can create monthly recurring time budgets on a per project basis as well as open projects.
Cons
I don't feel it connects well to many other platforms if that is needed. For instance, importing it into data management platforms so can see and manipulate the data on dashboards.
Reasons for Switching to Tick

Get your initiatives under control with Tick
I've been using that for 7 years now. Before the pandemic, I would use it every day because I needed to report all my work on Tick and it worked pretty well.Recently, the company asks us to report just some specific work, so I use it once a month for that.
Pros
Tick is pretty easy to use.For the purpose we use that, we just select the project and task, then add the amount of time spent and notes about that, and it's done. Then, we can check the reports to see how many hours each resource has spent on each project.Simple as that.
Cons
So far, I haven't found any cons.I believe that if it had the possibility to import multiple entries from a TXT file into the system, that would help.

Manage your project accurately and easily
He helped us improve the project planning processes and showed us the ability to start more than one project together and this was a new and good thing for our work and it has a speed of completion and development on performance
Pros
Helps improve the planning and development of projects and manages time and adjusts it according to the specified delivery dates and ensures that the completion was on time
Cons
The price is very high and small companies cannot use it, and learning and adapting to it is very difficult and needs a lot of time, and recording the time of completion or starting it is entered manually and if anyone forgets to do so, the time cannot be limited accurately

A Cruical Application for time tracking.
It is a cruicial application to have in my laptop.
Pros
To help me keep track of the time I spend working on different tasks, I use Tick daily. I occasionally work as a remote worker, which necessitates keeping track of the hours spent on a project. Without Tick, I'd be confused.
Cons
The price is little bit costlier. It requires more money to unlock more features.

While working on high-pace project, Tick helped us to keep to client calm and informed
Providing clear project status to the client traveling across the globe.
Also helped with internal budget planning.
Pros
That was a middle-term project with people distributed across the globe.
Part of team and client were traveling almost all the time.
When we provided the client reports generated by Tick they say that it was just what they need.
Client wanted to watch 2 indicators at a glance: time balance between different sub-projects/activities and budget spent.
All that the client was able to access from his mobile phone (a few guys on client side used even Apple watch).
Cons
When I installed Tick app on my Android phone I found its battery draining much faster (w/o Tick app I needed to re-charge my phone every second day, but once I installed the app, I needed to make a recharge every day). When we started using the app, API worked unstable from time to time (invalid response arrived), but for the last 5 months that was not a case anymore.

A flexible and reliable time tracking solution!
Tick makes it easier to hit our budget goals because we are managing our time so well now.
Pros
I love how much Tick helps our different team members track their time spent on different project goals. It is easy to know exactly how much time was spent on certain tasks within a project. We can quickly figure out if certain team members are spending too much time or too little time on a task compared to our own internal numbers. The user interface is very easy to navigate, so it is easy to train people to use the software too.
Cons
I just wish I had started using this software sooner.

A pretty good option - if you don't mind the look
Tick helped us get a better understanding of how we were spreading out our time, allowing us to make some conscious decisions about shifting our priorities to further our goals.
Pros
My team and I trialed this software as a way to manage and track our time spent on various projects. At any given time we have 3 or 4 major things running, that fall under different portfolios, and we were looking to get a clear understanding of how that time was being divided. Tick allowed us to do this with ease, and that was it's biggest selling feature. We've used a ton of software and the biggest turn off is "how much time does this take to use". An app that exists to track my time shouldn't need a separate tracker for how much time I waste using it. Tick was quick and efficient.
Cons
It looks u - g - l - y. This is maybe a personal issue more than it would be for other people, but it really made using it hard because it is just SO visually unappealing. The 'look' of things is so important these days, it always stands out when software just isn't up to snuff.

Tick is a time saver!
My interactions with Tick customer service have met expectations. They are prompt and polite.
Pros
Time is such a limited commodity in this fast paced world. Tick helps me and my team prioritize jobs and keep track of what we have completed. It has so much functionality that we didn't expect in our initial trial. You can use it as a work log or try to forecast future hours. If you work for yourself, Tick is a must!
Cons
While the third party app integration is pretty good for this type of software, we do use some other tools that are not compatible, specifically some email clients. We work around those issues though because we love everything else that it offers.

Great time tracker with free option
We are a small team & spend the majority of each week working remotely. A good time tracking tool is essential to make sure everyone is doing their share. It must be intuitive to use and cause minimal disruption to work flow. Tick filled this need nicely for us for quite some time.
Pros
I liked the phone app & desktop app combo, ease of use, and the fact that it was able to integrate with project mgt software such as Basecamp. Tick offers a free option which is great for small teams & freelancers.
Cons
The reporting was not as dynamic as we would have liked. It’s very simple, which can work well in certain cases, but as our team grew we ended up needing something a bit more robust.

Helpful for knowing where we're in the red.
Easy to use and navigate
Pros
I really like how easy it is to move an entry from one day to the next if you put it in the wrong spot. I also really like that you can branch out projects within a project so that you know exactly where your hours are going.
Cons
It's not so much a dislike of the software, I just wish there was a reminder feature where you could have a popup cue at certain hours of the day to remind you to enter hours!

Tick Really Saves Time To Focus On More Important Things
Tick allowed us to improve our time management skills to increase profits and run as a more efficient business.
Pros
Tick is a time management software that can be used for any business, regardless of its size. It's cloud based so you can access it anywhere, anytime, from your computer or phone. You can use multiple timers to track your activities throughout the day and even setup auto timers for reccuring projects. Timecards are easy to complete with the option to add notes and you are given budget feedback based on your input in real-time. I could set user permissions to ensure privacy for certain projects and integration with Quickbooks Online allowed me to quickly export hours reports. Subscription cost varies but there is a free 30 day trial available. This software has been very beneficial to me in the past and I'm currently in the process of getting it approved for use at my new job.
Cons
I did not have any issues while using Tick.

Great Time Tracking App
Pros
This is a great app for easy time logging and tracking. I usually keep this in the background at the start of the day, and leave it all day. I handle multiple different billing projects with clients, and this is a great app to keep all billing and invoice information on track
Cons
The cost is a bit expensive; however, it is worth it as it saves time needed to manually track down hours especially when dealing with multiple clients. That being said, there are other services out there that can probably do the same job for a much cheaper per month rate

Excellent alternative for monitoring and control of time.
A pleasant option for tracking time invested in each task or project, with excellent meters and reports on the time invested in each activity.
Pros
Tick offers a very good service to track our time, mainly I like the application for the smart phone version, since it is very good for the day and reminders everywhere, not only applies to the workplace but can also help in all the tasks of the day to day, having complete control over how you organize your time between work and personal activities, has excellent functions such as reports and monitoring the time you evaluate through tasks, projects or even customers that you program for the tracking, this can be through timer or manual entries, a very good application that you can try, it will serve much in many aspects.
Cons
The organization should be improved a bit in the visual part to make it more intuitive to the user and thus trap more consumers who bet on the tool.

Basic time tracking app
Pros
Tick's UI is incredibly simple and easy to use. The Chrome extension makes time tracking a breeze and easy to remember.
Cons
Tick is for time tracking. That's it. Integrations with other pieces of software are relatively rudimentary.
