Great Document Management and Availability
Customer service is exceptional. Response time combined with the depth and breadth of knowledge by support is amazing.
Pros
Our on premise installation of the product is super easy to use and setup. The ability to customize workflows to be as simple or as complicated as necessary.
Cons
I have nothing negative to say about this product.

Accounts Payable
I have come to really like Square 9 and how it has made my job easier.
Pros
I like Square 9 for the main purpose of getting the invoices entered and directed to the correct personal to work them, and then the process of them getting the invoices back for payment is pretty seamless. And being about to be paperless and searching for an invoice by so many different fields is nice. I also like the fact that it finds duplicate invoices so reducing accidental duplicate payments.
Cons
I don't like that sometimes it can be slow. Which may or may not be internet speeds or just how it is. This can cause delays in the amount of time invoices reach their destination to be worked. But, overall, I don't have too many issues with not liking Square 9.

My overall experience is okay, like I said it's not that great to manage employee files.
Pros
The product is easy to use and manage. But when you get to look up files, it's not the best.
Cons
Even though the product is easy to use, it's not fit for employee files. The files themselves are not easy to manage or find the documents easily. It does not provide like subfolders. You have to scroll down, it's hard when the employee has about 500 documents. You can't even do a search with the new uploaded files.

Excellent Product Overall
Overall, it has been a good experience. There are times that our IT department has to go in and fix some things but overall, it is good. I did have an issue previously and Square 9 reached out to me and worked very hard to correct the issue.
Pros
I like that there are a lot of ways to search for things. I also like how you can customize every aspect of it.
Cons
It has a tendency to get bogged down and become slow.

Square 9 hands down is the easiest and best software to use.
I have only had one issue with it so far. Everything is easy to use, easy to find, it stores your documents where it's easy to access. Square 9 has been the best decision.
Pros
It's easy to find your document once it's scanned into square 9.
Cons
The only issue I have had it with, was it got logged out twice and none of my documents were being processed, but opened a support ticket and the issue was resolved within minutes.

A great addition to any workplace with a large volume of documents.
Overall, Square 9 has been a welcome addition to our office, helping us organize large volumes of data which is easily accessed.
Pros
Square 9 is simple to use and easy to navigate. Stored documents are easily found through a variety of filters.
Cons
I would prefer to have customizable shortcuts. Sometimes requires a lot of clicks for simple tasks.

Good investment for your business!
The system has done a good job at meeting our AP function and document storage needs and I would recommend it to other businesses. Very reasonable for the price point as well.
Pros
The Square 9 system itself is laid out efficiently and stays up to date/modern. We've recently converted to direct support and they are very helpful and attentive. Good setup for dealing with cases.
Cons
The system can be hard to navigate at first until you get the hang of it.

How I can index for different departments in different buckets.

When I index, I can only index every other document. I have to skip every other one.

Great Document Management System
Pros
We are currently working with Square9 on creating workflows to automate the flow of documents. Currently, it fits our needs without breaking the bank, but it looks like there is a lot of untapped potential in the system that we are currently working towards taking advantage of.
Cons
As with most document management systems, there is a learning curve. Fortunately there is free training included that lays the groundwork for using the system.

Square 9 products have revolutionized our office and field operations workflows!
We continue to expand our use of Square 9 products. Document management is an important part of any business and in healthcare it is critical. Document History makes HIPAA required audit trails into a seamless process. The infinitely customizable index fields make storage and retrieval seamless. We have been heavy users of both GlobalSearch and GlobalForms for many years, and could not be as efficient as we are without them.
Pros
The ability to retrieve documents in seconds makes all of our tasks easier regardless of the department. We have moved all document workflows into GlobalForms and GlobalSearch. Their Support and Implementation Departments are second to none. Their goal is to make customers happy.
Cons
No, I don't have any document management needs that the Square 9 products don't solve.

Satisfied Customer
From implementation to completion, it was apparent that our satisfaction was Square 9's top priority. I'm happy to report that they earned us as a satisfied customer!
Pros
The document storage feature was the primary attraction to Square 9. But what sold us on Square 9 was the OCR technology, which has automated the invoice entry process. Further, with Square 9, we are able to import that data into our accounting system. Above all, it is easy to use, which has allowed a smooth transition for all users.
Cons

Square 9 Invoice Approvals
Pros
I like that Square 9 can not only store our documents and separate them into convenient archive folders, but we also appreciate that it handles all of our approval workflow processes. From Invoices, Credit Card Receipts, to Travel Requests. Initial setup can be a little overwhelming with all the information that goes along, but the knowledge base instructions and videos make it a lot easier and quicker to learn.
Cons
We sometimes experience bottlenecking of data being integrated between our CIS/FIS system and Square 9. This causes some hang-ups with workflows, scanning/auto indexing of documents.

Great Product!
I have never had an issue with the software or support and the support staff are AWESOME! I have attended several trainings in New Haven and always walk away energized to try something new.
Pros
I like that Square 9 will train staff to become administrators and they will customize training that you need. I like the various features that are included: automation of indexing documents, document workflows, key free indexing, Image Xchange, and File XChange.
Cons
There are some hurdles when it comes to JSON, etc. when you have not had experience with the language. Support is always great to assist though!

Highly Recommend
Pros
The program is very easy to use. Their implementation team is second to none. They will contact you frequently to make sure everything is going ok and if you run into a problem, they immediately fix it or investigate it. The product has allowed us to easily find and secure documents that would otherwise be stored in an unsecured box that you could spend hours trying to find.
Cons
Honestly haven't found any cons at this time.

We're a lot more efficient now that we found Square 9.
Square 9 has had a great impact in the speed in which we locate files. Their workflow also allows us to review documents generated quicker then ever. We haven't had to call Support too often and when we were deploying Square 9 they were always helpful and fantastic, treating our business like their business.
Pros
Square 9 is easy to use and allows us to search and locate our patient records and other documents faster then ever. We also use GlobalForms for allowing our patients complete their exams forms before they arrive for their eye exam.
Cons
It can be hard to see the status of documents after they are released from GlobalForms.

Great and easy tool to use.
We are storing all of our legal documents, tax returns, account payable checks, journal entries, ACH/Wire documents and a few other random documents. We have security in place but storing them here allows our other divisions to view these items and eliminate the need for copies stored at their site.
Pros
I like how easy it is for users to use. Very little training is necessary. Accounting was skeptical but I believe they love it now.
Cons
Sometimes the template and workflow creation can be tricking. There is so much you can do but the online training only dives in so deep.

Overall using Square 9 has been easy and it has made finding documents much easier since we now have everything stored in one place.

Square 9 is a very easy and functional tool to use in order to keep all important documents in one central location.
Cons
Sometimes documents take a long time to open/download. However, this is combatted by using the desktop version instead of the web browser version.

What I like the most is its ability to speed up contract cycle times. Before, he was trapped in a maze of endless and tedious paperwork. But now I can negotiate, manage and collaborate on contracts efficiently and without stress. It's just amazing!

Although customer service is generally excellent, I have experienced some delays in response on occasion. While I understand that you may have many demands, I would have liked quicker responses in certain situations.

New to Document Archiving
We had many years of client files that we are required to maintain. We have saved so much space it is incredible, and our documents are much more secure.
Pros
Our agency had always done everything on paper and we were not very technologically savvy. Square 9 got us up to speed with their training and support and we have been able to dramatically reduce our amount of paper documents with a goal of making everything electronic.
Cons
Being new to document archiving, many of the processes were foreign and the terminology was unfamiliar. It was a slow start for us but Square 9 walked us though it and we were able to develop processes that worked for us.
