It is difficult to decide which feature I like the most of AkitaBox, because it is a very complete and amazing software that has many good things. If I have to decide for something, it would be the interactive maps of AkitaBox. This feature is the one I like the most.

Cons

One thing that needs to be improved is to perfect the mobile application to make it more intuitive and easier to use. In my team there have been some problems with this.

Reasons for Switching to AkitaBox

After a period of 1 month reviewing options I came to the conclusion that AkitaBox has more advanced features than the competition. The level of detail in facility management is far behind its close rivals. So even though it costs a bit more money it is worth choosing it. With the experience of using it for more than 2 years I can safely recommend it

Pros

It is very easy to sort work orders by worker strength, and the ability to put pictures of the assets has saved time in understanding nagging issues.

Cons

We could use a feature that allows the program to call up the camera when working on a Microsoft product

It is set up nicely and has potential. Easy to navigate.

The installation was bad the company came in here and identified hundreds of pieces of equipment and called the items whatever they wanted to and it has cost me personally lots of time. And many others say the same about their experience.

Visually it is very striking. End users really like the features of seeing the floor plant to direct Facilities to the area they are requesting help.

It is not customizable and the reporting tool really does not do anything of value. I wind up crating excel reports as the system itself is unable to really quantify their work.

Most services are web-based, so if you lose service, you lose some of the availability.

Reasons for Switching to AkitaBox

Ease of interface use and price points per user.

Pros

Simple to use. Easy to train others on. Great for tracking service requests and work orders.

Cons

Unable to see asset totals spent on labor, parts, etc. Have to open each individual work order to gather this information.

I love how easy the software is to use and the multiple ways our students/staff can enter service requests (Portal and/or QR codes). I also love the learning center with all the articles and videos that show me how to get the most out of the product.

I wish there was a way on the Admin side to pull easy reports for open work orders per employee. (Maybe there is and I just haven't found that yet).

Transitioning to AkitaBox was definitely the right decision for us. Our users love being able to see the floor plans and they appreciate how easy the program is to use. The staff are easy to work with and accommodating to our needs

It would be really nice to have a mobile app for our maintenance/facilities team.

What I like most about AkitaBox is that it allows me to automatically manage everything related to automate the workflows of facility management. Our old system was very slow and laborious to handle. With AkitaBox we improved our performance by 400%. We checked this by reviewing the current and old statistics.

Regarding my personal experience with the use of AkitaBox, I found only one thing I didn't like, and that was when I started using the mobile application. Sometimes the application stuck and did not start correctly, but this was solved and only happens in rare occasions.

Reasons for Switching to AkitaBox

There is an essential factor in the decision to acquire AkitaBox and it is the price-quality.After a study of the competition, we came to the conclusion that the advantages offered were justified for the total value of use. Therefore we did not find anything better than AkitaBox in that price range.

When we first initiated AkitaBox into our schools online portal I was a little concerned with how well it would be received. Change is always difficult. I could not have been happier with the way it was received and used from the very first day. The thing I love the most about AkitaBox is the way it organizes and tracks nearly everything we do. We no longer have multiple spreadsheets in different locations. Everything we need and use is in one spot and data is available from IT to landscape.

Cons

This is probably more of a pro for this product than a con but when you find that AkitaBox is improving so many different aspects of your organization the temptation is to attempt to use it for things it wasn't designed to do.

It is relatively easy to schedule and request work to be performed by certain departments. Pick a department, describe work needed and done.

Cons

The use of the qr code scanner is a pain to use when there is no app available on the go. It is useless for our facility since we have to go back to a desktop to submit work orders.

Akitabox ia an important tool to my company for management, maintenance and capital control. its an easy to use with ease on third party integration. it makes it easy to import and export data from Akitabox. the tool has a great pricing point making it affordable.

akitabox has been of great help although it has some few cons, customization of the software is difficult. tried to create a reporting/ comment option on a task or assigning a task to a more number of employees but it's impossible, solving this would be of importance

When entering a work order for a particular location the facility map helps to quickly identify where the issues is located. When a room is selected at a facility it identifies any open work orders which prevents duplicate requests.

Two things: 1) say for instance, the complaint is about the air-conditioning unit not cooling properly. The ability to easily switch the work order from the room pin to the asset is not very easy. The unit is not tied to room or is not always listed so it takes a little bit more effort to assign the work order to the unit instead of the room. 2) I have 30+ facilities to monitor for work requests, having to enter into each facility to check for new work orders and process them is time consuming. It would be much easier to be able to access and process all new work orders, no matter which facility, from the All Building page.

The thing I like most about Akitabox is its ability to tie everything together. Work orders, assets, maps, & comments. It's a one stop software that makes work efficient.

Cons

The thing I least liked about the software is the amount of work that goes into getting all your information into the system. Akitabox does a great job of doing the initial upload of assets but there's a ton of additional information (warranties, owners manuals, etc.) that can be uploaded that takes time. Once you have everything in the system it's a huge time saver that will pay dividends in the future.

The ability to meld this software to match your organization's specific needs is unparalleled. Let's be real...there is always some nuance of your organization that more generalized software companies do not understand. This was the primary reason we chose Akita Box

The con I have is not about the software, it is about the time that my schedule allows me to invest more into the product. If provided more time there will be a deeper level of information on assets and rooms.
