Oracle Solaris still a super reliable option

We are able to decommission monolithic systems and deploy many servers as virtual machines and reduce footprint considerably

Pros

A solid reliable product that offers many virtualisation features.

Cons

There is some serious training and knowledge needed to deploy and support it.
