You've help me grow my business and confidence. Thank you Massage Book
Still learning but comfortable with the service and the Massage book team, Id recommend them!
Pros
The staff and features of the entire service. massage book staff is always available to help.
Cons
It would be nice if additional parties weren't necessary regarding transactions, card readers, and outside sources to advertise. Some of the links get tricky. A 24-hour active IT service would be helpful for us owls but it's manageable to wait until Monday to get a live customer service help

MassageBook is the secretary I always wanted!
MassageBook has been great to use ans grow my business with. If i ever have any issues, they are always available to chat and help me figure out what i need.
Pros
MassageBook makes scheduling easy for clients to do online, freeing up my time and reducing phone tag. SOAP notes are also stored on secure servers, so I can feel safe keeping digital records, with the added convenience of sending requests for health updates online.
The mobile app offers the ability to not only schedule clients, but also review and send health intake forms, making it equatable to using the website on a tablet or laptop.
I can also sell Gift Certificates online, making the holidays and special events much easier to navigate for clients while not taking away time from my practice.
Cons
It can be a little daunting when first setting up, but that is truly only because there are so many options to personalize your business listing, services and record keeping needs.

Could be great... but it's not even good.
It is an extremely frustrating time-sink. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Pros
Customer Service: Excellent, but would be better if it was available on the weekend. But the reps are patient, kind, and - with rare exceptions - well-versed in the workings of the software.
Cons
Thank goodness for the excellent customer service, because I spend about 8 hours a week in chats with them trying to figure out workarounds to make it possible to do the simple things I need to do using their very limited feature set. There are so many extremely basic problems with this software that I just don't have the time to list them all. I just got off of the second support chat today, making it 2 hours for today.
One example of these basic flaws is the character-count restrictions:
1. Character-count restrictions are not stated at the top of the text field, so you have to write something, hope it fits, and then spend time editing it when you find it's twice the allowed length.
2. When you go over the limit, the char-count info appears, but doesn't tell you if the number does or doesn't include spaces.
3. I tried with and without spaces, and even with the latter effort coming well-under the stated char-count, it wouldn't accept the text (I did try filling out the rest of the fields and saving and the char-count warning remained and it wouldn't save).
4. It turned out that the software was counting some kind of invisible characters that can exist when you copy and paste, so I had to copy and paste my text into an editor and remove the formatting, then copy and paste it again into the MB description field.
5. All of the char-counts are woefully small, leaving users to work themselves into knots trying to cram in the relevant info while also being clear. In some cases, it's simply not possible (the description fields for regular services, for example, are a mere 512 characters - that's only about 80 to 100 words).
6. There's no field specifically for restrictions. This is a pretty significant oversight, IMO.
As I said, this is just the most recent example of the many, many problems I've faced with this software. I think they've said, "sorry, that's not possible and there's no workaround" about 10 times, just this month.
When I've inquired as to why these basic features are not being fixed or added, I'm told they're working on a big payment processing update. Ironic, cause that's one thing that works without any issues.

Best program with the Best people!
From 2018- present I have watched them continually improve their program.
And they were extremely compassionate during Covid 2020; says a lot about a company
Pros
People can book their own appointments, freeing up my time.
Cons
There isn’t anything I dislike.
I mean, I’m not fond of their online credit card rate but they are probably below everyone else.

Outstanding Service and Professionalism Every Time
I have been with MassageBook for a while now and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional service with customer service you can count on.
Pros
The customer service team is always attentive, helpful, and quick to respond to questions or concerns. Their professionalism and knowledge make things go smoother, if they don't know they find out.
Cons
The only downside is they are closed on the weekends. That is a challenge to get assistance if something urgent comes up.
