So easy to use
The time I had with the product was limited but overall it was so easy to use, we dealt with timing sheets as a team and had good result.
Pros
The product gives real data in management reporting field and integrates with Microsoft products which is a great pro.
Cons
Even though using it is so easy, there are not much features that can be used regularly, you only use some basics and that is it.

Procas by Small Business
Overall experience with Procas has been wonderful. Changing software is always a scary and major undertaking, but it was rather easy and went without a hitch. From not knowing what to expect, or how the product would perform until you really use it, we found that it met or exceeded any and all expectations that we had.
Pros
Ease of operation and how entered transactions are immediately included on a number of reports. Also, the detail provided in reports, as well as the numerous search options, are extremely helpful in being able to customize reports to get the information you really want/need. The ability to close and reopen periods, even crossing over fiscal years, does not require a lot of time and tedious labor.
The initial setup was painless working with a knowledgeable/helpful consultant and ongoing support has been responsive and a pleasure to work with.
Cons
It seems that indirect rates, for billing purposes, need to be changed by each project/code which is a bit time consuming.
Reasons for Choosing PROCAS Accounting
Deltek GCS Premier was no longer going to be updated and supported. Deltek was having their customers migrate to Costpoint, a higher end system, which was an expensive undertaking in terms of setup and ongoing maintenance/support. We, as a small business, could not justify the cost and did not really need a system that was designed more with large businesses in mind.Reasons for Switching to PROCAS Accounting
Seemed to provide what we needed at a very reasonable price.- Industry: Security & Investigations

PROCAS Functionality
PROCAS has a great end product but is not user-friendly. If the functionality was modified to be a little more automated, it would be much more appealing.

PROCAS ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
PROCAS WAS VERY EASY TO SET-UP, USE AND MAINTAIN. OUR MAJOR CONCERN WAS IF IT WOULD PASS A DCAA AUDIT, AND IT DID!
Pros
FIRST IT WAS THAT PROCAS CAN HANDLE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING. NEXT IT WAS THE PRICE. AND LASTLY HOW EASY IT WAS TO LEARN AND USE.
Cons
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADDITIONAL REPORTS LIKE A MONTHLY P/L COVERING 12 MONTHS BY DIVISION. I CAN GET A REPORT FOR EACH MONTH BUT NOT ONE FOR 12 MONTHLY.
