HR Coordinator

Running payroll is a dream, generate and cancel cheques as needed.

What our employees complain about most is their vacation and flex hours do not decrease as soon as a request is approved by supervisors - if people do not do the math under requests they tend to over book. They do not want to keep track of it.

Payroll automation works
Overall, PGi helps employees enter their time and process payroll more easily. Employees can access their T4s and paystubs, which they can retrieve at their convenience, saving time for payroll administrators to focus on analyzing time card data. There are various reports available to pull different types of data for budgeting payroll expenses and comparing expenses from one period to another.

-Quick response for things that can't wait given payroll timing.
-Humble, patient and good listeners
Cons
-Every time there is a system upgrade, some employees lose access to timecard entry temporarily, and system processing takes longer.
-It will be great to have an email with the details of what are upgrades and what impacts those upgrades have on existing data
-The vacation logs should be locked for the past days and should not change with a change in an employee's hours retroactively.

Best Customer Service & Reporting
My overall experience with PGi has been amazing. From implementation to daily use and ongoing support, I have no complaints

The flexibility of reporting, the prompt customer service, and the simply integrated webclock are some of the features that I love.
Cons
With the reporting being so customizable and flexible, sometimes it can be hard to remember where to find the report you are looking for.

Easy to use and straightforward
Overall my experience was good and I found the software easy to use once I had my log in established.
Pros
The software was easy to utilize for reporting hours worked and straightforward when requesting time off, or viewing vacation accrual.
Cons
I did not use the software long before my employer moved away from it. But I found the log-in and password reset system to be somewhat difficult to use at the time I had to do it.

PGI software for use in Community Health Care
Used for payroll for employees and contractors within our company.
Pros
Was easy to use and access. Nice user interface. Easy to access payroll documents and vacation allotment.
Cons
Sign in procedure was difficult to use at times. But once that issue was sorted out the software ran well.
