An indispensable tool for providing practical support remotely
TeamViewer made it easy for my team to assist each other remotely. Our digital news team can use TeamViewer to help a colleague perform a task, which translates to improved productivity. You don't have to be in the same room to help a colleague install software or complete a task; you can do it from wherever you are using TeamViewer.
Pros
I like TeamViewer because I can access any device remotely regardless of the location securely. All I need is an ID and password to access the computers used by a co-worker and perform tasks as they watch on their devices. It is so easy to access and use another computer when both of you have a reliable internet connection.
Cons
Sometimes it stops scrolling the remote computer or is unresponsive, which indicates a compatibility problem or internet connection issues. I also feel that someone could access sensitive data on the remote computer during the remote support session. I'd appreciate it if TeamViewer had a way to limit access to certain files and require a separate password for other files.

Covid-19 Life saver for remote support service

makes remote connection easy, the password protection makes it more perfect for a remote support service where, remote devices can not just be connected to without authentication via pass codeAlso, making password renewable is awesome
Cons
The only issue i had with team viewer is when I can't type in the local admin credentials when supporting users remotely at times.

My overall experience is great. TeamViewer is my go to and I prefer it over all other options.
Pros
I love how easy this website is to use. I use it to get support for my work computers through another company. Its quick and simple and my favorite to pull up to get the support.
Cons

We use TeamViewer to connect with our clients or my team away from the workplace when they need help with web design projects. TeamViewer allows them to watch me perform the task in question from the comfort of my home or office. Anyone can install TeamViewer and it is easy to connect securely and solve the problem at hand. However, compatibility issues and internet connection problems could affect your experience.
Pros
As a web designer, sometimes I have to guide our clients or fellow web designers on how to perform a task, install a plugin, customize a website, troubleshoot, or publish content. TeamViewer helps me connect with people remotely and guide every step as they watch from their end. I also like that TeamViewer is easy to download, install, and connect with other devices. You can use it on devices with Windows or iOS, which is quite convenient.
Cons
Both devices must have the latest version of TeamViewer to connect seamlessly. Otherwise, you might experience compatibility challenges. Besides, TeamViewer cannot work without a stable internet connection. Therefore, your experience largely depends on the stability of the connection on both ends. It largely relies on visual assistance or guidance and may not be ideal for sessions or complicated trainings.

Great Tool to Access and Use Devices Remotely
TeamViewer allows us to guide our clients upload content to their websites. Since most of our clients are new website owners, TeamViewer helps us guide them until they get used to the whole process. Reinstalling the software eliminates any compatibility issues and make remote support seamless.
Pros
I like the security features such that only the authorized person can access a device remotely. I use Teamviwer to teach my clients how to upload content, edit photos, install extensions on their websites or do such technical tasks remotely. Teamviewer gives me full control of the other device and allows the client to follow every step. It is easy to download, install, and use even without prior learning.
Cons
I dislike compatibility issues. sometimes you have to reinstall TeamViewer to resolve compatibility issues. I have not experienced other issues.

Sometimes a client or our colleagues gets stuck with surveys, reports, or any other aspect and there is need for one on one assistance. TeamViewer provides an easy way out because you don't have to meet with the person who need help. You can connect with their device remotely and show them where they are going wrong. It is easy to install and get started but internet connection needs to be stable.
Pros
I like TeamViewer because you can connect with any device securely and assist others with some tasks. TeamViewer website is easy to navigate, find the appropriate version of TeamViewer and install it on your computer. I also like it because it offers unlimited control of the remote device as long as the internet connection is stable.
Cons
It cannot work effectively without a stable internet. Sometimes it stops functioning or lags especially if you maintain the connection for a very long time. You need to disconnect and establish a new connection to make it start working again.

Reliable Tool for Remote Access
Teamviewer allows me to guide my team from wherever they are by accessing their devices remotely. It is relatively stable and gives users on each end a chance to control the device. However, you might experience compatibility problems.
Pros
Teamviwer is quite responsive even when you have a slow internet connection. It is easy to use even for people who are not tech savvy. Most new team members don't experience any challenges when they need my remote guidance using Teamviewer. I also like it because it gives the remote user a pointer and a cursor to perform any task on the remote device.
Cons
We noticed a compatibility problem between some devices but reinstalling the latest version solved the problem. I also feel that it offers limited customization features. You cannot change the background or improve its appearance or overall design.

Best Remote control Technology
We run various projects with diverse teams located far off from each other. The remote control ability makes it easy to be in all that place at the same place and control the output or various work-related activities.
Pros
It is very easy to set up on any device, no much hustle to access too from any kind of device.
Sharing of various files to other devices is one of the best features that I like.
The remote control ability makes it possible for me to work at various places at literally the same time which makes it awesome in my job management.
Cons
Problematic on setting up in PC running on windows 7 OS. Tried severally but all failed.
Quite expensive to purchase and install especially for small businesses.
It has a limited number of people who can meet up hence limitation when it comes to large meetings.

1) Increased efficiency in resolving customer queries as I just login to their environment with teamviewer and quickly resolve their issues.
2) Quick turn around time to customer support as its real time and live via remote connection.
3) Ability to implement and train customers remotely without having to be on-site and this has reduced immensely the cost of support fees charged to the customer.
4) TeamViewer allows for global partnerships to happen with anyone around the world as you can share ideas, solutions via the platform. There are no more barriers to the reach of solutions.
5) Being easy, efficient and fast to use means that my customer experience using this software is positive and I would encourage all technical people to have this application for ease of doing business.
6) It has made our selling point stronger when it comes to support in that we tell our clients that support can happen real time and all they have to do is downaload Teamviewer and we handle the rest.
7) All these efficiencies the software has brought about has led to increased customer satisfaction from our clients and increased business.

1) Easy to locate on google search and the website is clear on how to download it. You just run the executable file and the installation takes care of the rest.
2) After installation setting up is quite easy and then you are on your way. Customer feel and experience when using it is very efficient and easy.
3) You can also now remotely connect to even android devices or control another Teamviewer active machine using your Android device.
4) The multiple user access to one device is a plus as support personnel can troubleshoot real time to one device thereby creating increased efficiency.
5) The simplicity of the file transfer menu and the efficiency when transferring is also a plus to the software. The software notifies you of the status in terms of percentage of the file transfer progress.
6) The live chat function is also a great tool as users connected can now be chatting live as they are connected. Easily accessible on the top tab, one click the chat bar opens and you are able to start chatting.
7) It is cost effective as it saves support personnel on would be trips that they would have to go to do on-site support, now with just a remote connection you can easily troubleshoot and resolve customers issue and this I believe is one of this software's biggest advantage. This overally saves on time and cost associated with would be on-site support was this app not available.
8) The free version is also as its a good marketing tool.

1) When accessing it on mobile devices the resolution tends to not be up to scratch. Hovering around when using the android device becomes an issue as there is the use of the mouse to manoeuvre and access whereas on the android screen it will be a touch screen.
2) Security is limited as anyone who has access to your device can easily then logon to the application and play around with it. Recommendation would be to have an option to login to the software before it allows you to proceed. This can be a configuration the user can then activate or de-activate.
3) The error messages for a layman using the software are not so user friendly and usually they end up having to seek assistance. The error messages when connecting are the ones that are usually not user friendly.

Great all in one software for remote access
TeamViewer is one of the most popular remote access programs not without a reason. It combines simplicity of use with great functionality. It is certainly software designed for both large enterprises and private clients who need applications for remote control for their own use.
Pros
TeamViewer is an all-in-one software that allows you to access another computer remotely. I find it very helpful with technical support, communication, collaboration or just information exchange. One tool allows you to work from a single room without wasting time and money on traveling.
If I had to compare TeamViewer to other programs of this type, its main advantage is the lack of additional network configuration: we can provide remote assistance to someone connected to the Internet through NAT, and the only thing that the client must do is enable the QuickSupport module and provide us with the ID and password. Simple operation makes it an ideal tool for remote assistance and maintenance of remote computer workstations without the need for physical contact.
I can just concentrate on my work, not on preparing for it. With this software I can solve problems remotely or communicate with clients and colleagues without complicated procedures and tedious preparations. TeamViewer has been designed to start working on any device in a few seconds and this is its great advantage.
Cons
There are however few disadvantages that can be quite annoying sometimes, such as the incoming menu of the presenter on the image transmitted to the participants or a poor drawing menu . Another disadvantage of this program is the small number of people who can meet in a virtual TeamViewer room at the same time.

What I liked the most was the ease of installation that I had to distribute and install throughout the office and the ease of being compatible with any operating system, zero failures, stabilityI really like the design and the ease from the computer to the computer. excellent tool for my job
excellent application, is one of the fundamental tools of my work. without this application we could not give support, we could not show requirements or incidents that occur in productive environment with each of the clients.
