Lightweight, Easy to use Rapid 2D Drafting Software
I have been using AutoCAD for 5-6 years and it has been good experience. The learning curve of the software is non-steep and after learning few commands become intuitive. Mostly used the conversion feature from PDF to DWG which works great but however there is still room for perfection.
Pros
Great 2D Drafting software. Helps to quickly check and verify ideas using 2d elevation, plan etc. Used it extensively during tower crane erection and dismantling preparation for the creation of scheme drawings. Favourite Feature - PDFIMPORT. Best part - keyboard commands shortucts which differentiates it from other CAD applications.
Cons
The cost is very high. Unsustainable for an individual to acquire. Had used it on student and organizational license. The PDFIMPORT function can be improved - lots of information is turned to noise during conversion from PDF to DWG. Dimensions also get incorrectly scaled - maybe with the application of AI the conversion can be streamlined as this is one of the best feature.

Easiest to implement and most reliable CAD software
I have been using AutoCAD for more than 14 years, and it has been crucial in every project we used it, both academically and professionally. However, in the last couple of years, I have started to migrate complex projects to Revit and maintain Interior works in AutoCAD.
Pros
Easiest to implement and most reliable CAD software in the market. Very versatile for early stages and even entire projects.
Cons
When developing large and complex projects, AutoCAD might not be the best alternative as you have to develop more drawings. If that is the case, you might want to go for Revit instead.

AutoCAD the dominant starter
No matter what the other programs with advanced assistants, AutoCAD already dominates the CAD market. So you can easily meet this if you have true interests in CAD.
Pros
It's absolutely the basics in the manufacturing field I'm in. Anybody can draw with several functions(tools) and it's easy to understand how the program works.
Cons
It's quite difficult to find advanced functions without a teaching program such as a technical teaching academy where I started CAD with AutoCAD.

Autocad: one of the best CAD programs on the market
AutoCAD allows me to make quick and easy edits with layer management tools, editing commands, and dynamic blocks, which allows me to streamline the review process and save time during design updates. This also allows me to have fewer errors when updating drawings that are tied to those layers.
Pros
The tools in AutoCAD give me very good control and precision, which is essential for me when creating detailed technical drawings.
Cons
AutoCAD software is very demanding on hardware and requires a very powerful computer, especially for large and complex projects that contain different disciplines.

Not your novice software.
I think AutoCAD is a very powerful tool. I use it to circuit and layout site plans for electrical equipment and feeders. I then import it into a Revit model for future design modifications, but otherwise it is a great program and critical to know how to use for engineering.
Pros
AutoCAD allows a lot of creative freedom for starting a project from scratch, or importing another CAD file, or just plain old pdf.
Cons
The controls for AutoCAD are so customizable and initially foreign from any other design program that it is very difficult to teach yourself exactly what you’re trying to accomplish. Example: keyboard shortcuts and select/deselect clicking.

Best software for 2D layouts and detailing
Till now i have total more than 4 years of experience with this Software and i have not seen any software like this in market yest. Lost of companies are using it so it becomes more easy to collaborate with other users
Pros
Its UI is very simple and easy to understand. It can be integrated with other softwares.
Its working is very fast and smooth. It has lots of features and tools, which are required for 2d drafting. Also we can customize this software as per our need. We can create Auto LISP to automate repetitive and complex tasks also.
Cons
Its not good for 3d modelling. When working with 3d and blocks, I have observed that it gets slow sometimes. There is no option for cloud collaboration, so multiple users can't work on same file at same time.

AutoCAD review
I have a lot of fun using AutoCAD. It's an excellent piece of software with a great degree of precision and ease of manipulation. I adore how easy it is to use to create intricate and sophisticated designs. The intuitive interface of AutoCAD is one of the features I find most appealing.
Pros
greatly reduces time. How much time would it take to manually sketch a construction plan? Things have reached entirely new heights thanks to the AutoCAD program. Any kind of design, including architectural drawings, can be completed faster. More output and more productivity follow from this.
The ease of use of this software is undoubtedly something you will enjoy. It has an easy-to-use interface that you can quickly become familiar with.
Working in 3D space is possible. In fact, you can make 3D images with AutoCAD. Compared to creating a 3D model by hand, this process is even faster. It is also possible to draw in two dimensions.
Cons
high startup expenses. With particularly high initial expenditures, AutoCAD can be highly costly. This is due to the expenses associated with software, hardware, and training. It also needs to be done on a PC.
It takes time to get the hang of using this software. AutoCAD has a wide range of functions despite being unique in its use. Because of this, it will take a long time for you to have complete knowledge.

The AutoCAD program served as a solid foundation for my entry into the world of construction...
It was an exciting experience in the world of building design and modeling through which I gained many experiences in understanding and modeling all 2D and 3D plans
Pros
Through my work on the AutoCAD program for many years, I noticed that it has many advantages, such as saving time and effort, mainly because it eliminates the need to draw on paper or manually. In addition, it is an effective program for designing and modeling projects, as it provides models (2D and 3D), and it is worth mentioning. The AutoCAD program has proven its effectiveness in the past and up to the present time as it is characterized by ease and flexibility and has an interface that is easy to understand and detail and the ability to import and export files from other programs...
Cons
Whatever the advantages of this program, we must focus on some of its negatives for the purpose of effective criticism... It has a relatively high cost, in addition to the fact that it requires computers with very high specifications, because when we design a (3D) program with complex and precise details, it will lead to a significant slowdown in the computer..
