The Flightdocs experience has been a great success story for our company!
Time savings. Ease of use. Great support. The program is always up and running. We've never had the program give us any trouble.
Pros
There's no training required to operate the program. The program is intuitive and easy to use. Pulling data to run reports in an Excel file is a snap.
Cons
No options to have simple report templates available such as completed work last month, last quarter or last year. Another would be a report on just discrepancies.

Great product, good value
Pros
The system in very easy to use and intuitive. The tracking system is invaluable in keeping my fleet up to date.
Cons
The customer service has declined in recent years. I used to know everyone in the company, but as it grew into ATP and now Veryon they have expanded and what used to take five minutes to fix, now takes days.

My experience in using a MXT system is 4 yrs working for CAMP Sys, 1 1/2 yrs working w/FD
It assists with what the software was built to do, keep track of maintenance and what is coming due, however, with Flightdocs analysis or releases, the audit of the system is a daily.
Pros
There is not much I like most about this software. The software is simple set-up and user friendly. I like the ability to export information on .xls spreadsheet.
Cons
It is difficult to quickly do an update, i.e. revision. It seems if there was a template of a basic aircraft build, the aircraft would be consistent. The software is perfect for a part 91 operator, not a 135 operator. The reporting is not robust enough.

Flightdocs works for us
Pros
Ease of use, accessibility, use of multiple devices to access, constant improvement
Cons
Some minor inconsistencies in search filters and labels between features of the system. System currently lacks an electronic work turnover function for maintenance items and non routines. I would hope to see features in the future that directly address the needs of our FAA part 145 repair station to manage back shop component repairs

Contracts 365Reasons for Choosing Veryon Tracking
Needed a singular platform for all our aircraft, ease of use, control, and most of all the Customer Service which none of their competitors come close to achieving.Reasons for Switching to Veryon Tracking
Captera your system would not let me pick Flightdocs main competitors we reviewed. For this question it was due to several advantages; ease of deployment, ease of use, quick learning curve for technicians, cost, and support.- Industry: Airlines/Aviation

Flightdocs Review
I have enjoyed using Flightdocs so far! Customer service is great to work with! I can call anytime and they always assist with my questions/ concerns that I have.
Pros
Easy to manage and track inventory. love the function of flagging you if your inventory will expire within 30 days.
Cons
Wish you could make internal notes on PO's, RO's SO's that don't reflect on the actual hardcopy.

Customer support
GREAT!
Pros
I loved the fact that when I contacted FlightDocs technical support, someone picked up after 3 rings. The person who picked up the phone asked me the right questions to see if she can resolve my problem or if she need it to create a tech support ticket. The after hour support was great. SHe was driving home and she said she would call me in 20 minutes, she actually called me in 20 minutes. My FlightDocs issue was looked at and issues was resolved before next business days.
Cons
Hard to work with both FlightDocs and Rockwell Collins. Maybe someone can be trained for Rockwell Collins support "FOS"

Good Software Overall
My overall experience with Flightdocs has been great!
Pros
What I like most about Flightdocs is that it's easy to see and understand the priority display of the maintenance information center. It's super helpful.
Cons
What I like least about the software is as a beginner, it's pretty hard to navigate. Teaching people who are unfamiliar with the software takes a lot of time.
Response from Veryon
Thanks so much for the feedback! Please note that our support center is open 24/7/365 and our staff is standing by to answer any questions you may have. We also have our navigational aid feature - Fd | Assist. It can be accessed through the question mark on the bottom right of the screen. Simply click the question mark and type in your question to find answers, walkthroughs, and videos to assist you further.

Pros
User Interface very intuitive.
Fully paperless even for the crew that want to have access to the due list.
Cons
Not very customizable. Would be nice to let the customer choose what is displayed on every page and to be able to set his/her own defaults. This will set Flightdocs apart from the competitors.
Can not set up or delete my own employees as an admin.
Would be nice to have inventory on the iPhone app.

Transition and Flexibility
Very positive experience, whenever we had a question we utilized the help desk and the FlightDocs staff would get us back up and operational in no time.
Pros
The Flightdocs software has allowed our department to transition from CAMP fairly smoothly. It has allowed maintenance tracking and documentation to happen more rapidly and efficiently.
Cons
The initial implementation of Flightdocs into our department came with challenges as expected (much like learning about a new aircraft). You can tailor the program to meet your department's needs. The challenge came when trying to figure out how to properly sign off a specific task and how to adapt the program to your organization. There is so much flexibility sometimes it was too much.

Pros
The features that help us the most would be the clarity of the maintenance due list, the ease of creating a purchase/repair order and the tracking of components.
Cons
One down side to this system would be, it wont track retirement index numbers "RIN'S" for the Bell medium or light helicopters. This would be a huge relief on the operators part.

Corporate Flight Department
We are a 24/7/365 flight department. No matter what time of day someone always answers the phone. Huge difference from utilization of past MX tracking services. Better on the budget and definitely a pleasure to talk to for issues or questions. When you have a problem or even a suggestion to improve something for your fleet; they listen and react. Positively react!
Pros
With multiple aircraft, like operations/statuses can be viewed together on the same screen.
Cons
A few non typical information points have to be navigated and there are not direct shortcuts

Flightdocs
The only problems were at the beginning trying to get used to the sytsem. After 2+ years of use it has gotten much easier and user friendly with updates.
Pros
ease of use, ability to search items easily on the search bar.
Cons
One thing CAMP has is the AMM references loaded in the system.

I have been working on aircraft since 1979.
It saves a lot of time and make a nice loge book.
Pros
How easy it is to use the software. Having an electronic signature for all the documents. Having link to the maintenance manual.
Cons
Not having all the links for the inspections you have some but not all the inspections have links. Some times I've run into a problem with how you name some of the components. It is a little different from what I have used before.

Great aviation maintenance tracking product

Ease of use and customer service. I love the way you can search for items across a fleet
Cons

It has been a very good product. There are features downstream that would help others.
Pros
It is pretty simple to operate. You can have multiple screens to operate in at the same time. Having 24 Hr. access from anywhere and tech support 24/7 make this a great product.
Cons
1) Not seeing the current part total time on the report. 2) The Flights tab is not really usable in helicopter operations, especially EMS, it takes too may steps to get to the point of creating a flight. 3) Templates that are not fully interactive with each aircraft.

FlightDocs ease of use
Very friendly team to work with. Only down side I noticed was it took about 2 months to fully get our second airplane up and running.
Pros
The software is very simple to use and information is easily obtainable. The cost versus the other main competitor was definitely worth the switch.
Cons
No dislikes so far with the software. Just the length of time it takes to get an airplane up and running.
