When is the only product on the market the best product on the market?

I use this software to sync to Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop. Myworks is a fantastic software and great experience. The Quickbooks Web Connector that this leverages, however, continues to fail and halt my processes requiring manual intervention. I saw mention of a bugfix - couldn't come quickly enough.

Pros

This product was clearly built by an accounting team that knows the ins and outs of Quickbooks while also the nuances of WooCommerce. The sheer amount of depth to this product, the ability to configure minute details, is highly impactful to my recommendation here.

Cons

Some areas of the plugin are not entirely intuitive, and the need to upgrade to a higher tier to use warehousing and advanced inventory was an unwanted surprise.

Software is one thing. Support is another.

We have used MyWorks for about 9 months. Initially, it checked all our "boxes" in a search for a software that would accurately and efficiently transfer website orders and inventory information from our website to our QuickBooks Desktop. As a growing business, we discovered we needed to change our initial settings to accommodate changes we were looking to implement...changes that rely more on MyWorks now that we have seen what it is capable of. There are a lot of options to customize and adapt to what our business needed, which is comforting to know that we aren't stuck to a system. We use this everyday of the work week. All departments (especially accounting) are extremely happy and impressed with the integration of MyWorks to our process. We are excited to continue growing with MyWorks. Huge "thanks" to the MyWorks Team!

Pros

We really love the ability to sync information based on the User Role and customize what and where that information goes into QB. As the manufacturer, this is critical since we sell to both individual Customers and have an extensive network of Dealers around the world. MyWorks has thorough documentation and videos that has answered 90% of our questions in total, but in those few cases we still had questions or a specific request, MyWorks has come through strong with help via chat and email. Initial integration was fairly straightforward (thanks to video demo!). In specific areas were looking for or had issues with, they were extremely responsive and respectful and had a solution within hours of reaching out directly. And if neccessary, they asked we run a test order and make sure the solution was working. Call it old school, but I prefer communicating with a human to resolve an issue. We really like that they explain the issue and solution to help us understand how the software works and our team has always learned something more because of it.

Cons

The only downside we have discovered after 9 months of use is how high our expectations have become when asking for support from other software companies. MyWorks has become the standard of support and for that we are extremely grateful!

Cool Product

Being a small retail company, we do not have time to update our online store stock on a daily basis. This program helps with this time consuming task. This saves many hours updating $$

Pros

Relatively easy to set up with website and QuickBooks online.

Cons

Automatic sync is not always reliable. More times than we would like, we have products sold in our showroom and the software requires manual adjustments to update the inventory levels online store.
We are hoping this will improve as time goes on.

We're so happy we found MyWorks Sync!

Working with MyWorks sync has been a refreshing experience! They are quick to respond, and they really care about helping you get things set up exactly the way you want. They are really good at troubleshooting and solving issues as well.

Pros

They have great customer service. The app has a fully customizable sync that suits our needs from syncing orders from WooCommerce (soon to be Shopify) to QuickBooks, and their team is incredibly responsive.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. If I had to say something, it would that the fastest sync time they have is 5 min. We do live inventory, so a sync faster than 5 min would be helpful on occasion, but this is so minor and rarely ever causes issues.

Don't know how I lived without it

I use it to sync WooCommerce users, orders and payments directly into QuickBooks Online. I used to have to do that manually.

Pros

Toss up between: (1) the hours and hours it saves me so that I can focus on my actual business rather than bookkeeping, and (2) the unbelievable customer support.

Cons

It's pretty complicated, but once I got the hang of it, I love it.

Seamless Integration, great support

Their Company and staff were quick to respond, very professional and friendly and the few questions I had were answered promptly and correctly. They obviously love and value their customers and take pride in their customer service.

Pros

Everything. Very simple to integrate and once setup it just works.

Cons

No cons whatever. It works exactly as advertised.

Amazing customer service and support

MyWorks offers amazing and speedy customer support. No waiting around days for a reply. We have been working with MyWorks for a long time and couldn't be happier. 10 Stars!

Sometimes it's difficult to find certain things in the backend as you there is a lot of information to go through.

Fantastic software with EVEN BETTER customer service and technical support!!!

One year since publicly launching out ecommerce store, and now our customers have been orders for some of the smaller items without tying up our sales teams on the phone for small orders of replacement parts!

Pros

We truly appreciate the way in which technical support is able to thoroughly understand the issues that we bring up, and have always provided well-informed solutions with great results.

Cons

There was definitely a bit of a learning curve to get everything up and running, but MyWorks has fantastic resources for learning about how things work. Whether that is youtube videos, correspondence with tech support, or even the information explanations when navigating the MyWorks tab of our WooCommerce store. At the end of the day, it was about as intuitive as a complicated thing such as this could possibly be!

Totally worth it

My experience with MyWorks has been extremely positive and their customer service is fantastic!

Pros

I enjoy the time savings that MyWorks provides.

Cons

Minor incompatibility with a third-party payment gateway. However, the support team fixed it very quickly.

I Love this product and company

Pros

Covers all the basis. I used Connex before and it was expensive, rigid, poor customer service. It was buggy and they were constantly updating it without notice - removing features that were critical to my business. My Works is a fraction of that cost. Easy to set up and has ALL the functionalities you need to tailor the integration how you need. Customer service is among the best I've dealt with.

Cons

Nothing. Yup, absolutely nothing. No I don't work there or own shares int he company I am jsut so happy to find something that works that I don't have to waste time fixing constantly

MyWorks Sync Works Well

MyWorks Sync works. The program performs as advertised and saves me time, although, I wish it saved me a little more money.

Pros

One of the things I like most about MyWorks Sync is that it works in the background. As a small e-commerce business owner, I don't have time to transfer sales data from my online shop to my financial software. MyWorks Sync sends sales, customers, and inventory from my Woocommerce site to Quickbooks Online, saving me valuable time to complete other tasks.

Cons

Like other programs that sync with financial software, MyWorks Sync is pricey for my small business. I need the program to save me time, but I have fewer sales than larger shops and still need the inventory feature. It would be nice if they had another price tier for shops like mine. MyWorks Sync requires a little setup in the beginning. The company's tech support helped me along in the beginning, but after that, the program runs on its own. So, I'm not sure why they need to price it so high.

MyWorks Works!

There was a bit of a learning curve for me, but because of the great support team. After using the software for several months, I feel very comfortable and it's helped save me hours of entry work.

A great option for anyone looking to automate their shopping cart, with their accounting software.

Pros

This software does what I needed it to do. It saves me time, by automating the invoice entry and payment.

Fast and knowledgeable support when needed.

Cons

Set up takes quite a bit of time and you will likely need help to get it right. But after you get through it all, it's smooth sailing!

This software is more suitable for non-b2b, because when a buyer enters their company name, it may not be the same as the company name in the accounting system. This means there ends up being multiple companies, rather than one company.

Excellent well priced sync for QBO-WooCommerce

We use MWS to synchronise products and orders between QuickBooks Online and WooCommerce, and it essential that we get new orders into QBO as quickly as possible. This plugin has done everything we have asked of it and more.

Pros

I normally have an ideological aversion to order based pricing structures, but the pricing tiers are reasonable, and this plugin is so good and richly featured I think it is excellent value for money. The support team are great and nothing is too much trouble for them, and the MWS team are open to ideas to improve functionality, and come up with ideas for enhancements based on issues reported.

Cons

Nothing really, but only intermittent issues. We have been having some issues get the inventory synchronisation working correctly in the past few months, but no issues before that, but to fair we have not yet identified whether these issues belong to us or MWS.

My works sync to my woo commerce website

Pros

My works is easy. I turn on Quickbooks, click file, and click update web services. It connects and brings the website orders and syncs with Quickbooks, and i print the orders. Receiving orders i Quickbooks, My works syncs the receiving with the website. My Works allows me to work in one place saving me a lot of time.

Cons

I had a hard time understanding how to install it. i am by no means good with a computer. i contacted the service that made my website and the support team at My Works and they helped me through it. So if something needed to be changed - i would ask to make the install easier for people like me that have no idea about programs.

MyWorks Sync is GREAT!

the customer support has been excellent from day one! every one is super helpful and has always helped answer any questions i had.

Pros

i love that it pushes each order over to QB and batches them each night.

Cons

currently the only think that isn't happening in the refunds dont show up in the batch deposit so i have to manually add them. not a huge deal, but only thing in can think of. =)

Exceptional functionality

MyWorks has seamlessly and flawlessly connected our WooCommerce store to QuickBooks Online.

Pros

We've been using MyWorks Sync for over a year on WooCommerce and it's proven itself to be very reliable and unobtrusive. The sofwtare has every option our accountant could possibly want. Customer support is truly exceptional.

Cons

Slow and somewhat tedious bulk sync functionality. Our store had been in operation for 3 years prior to discovering MyWorks Sync and there is no way of selecting more than 500 orders at a time to sync. Each order took roughly 6 seconds to sync so going through thousands of orders took a very long time and was a bit of a chore.

MyWorks Sync, 2+ year user, 5 websites

The MyWorks team and the software is very impressive and I've hired the team for custom development too.

Pros

The software is very reliable and we have had maybe 2 hiccups in almost 3 years.

Cons

There is a learning curve and lots of hidden settings but the support team is top-notch, very patient and always ready to help you find what you need.

Good PlugIn

It works, it doesn't crash... if you stay within the core plug in, it works perfectly.

Pros

Has most functions needed already built in.

Cons

Some standard Quickbooks features are not in the core plug in, so customization is needed, which means paying extra fees.

Great product and service

Pros

EASY. GREAT SUPPORT. Reliable.

Very easy to integrate. setting up custom syncs take a time to learn but once you understand the structure and the scheme it is very easy to add custom rules, execution and fields.

Pros

I love the easy syncing and set up. if you have a basic retail ecom store. this product is for you! Very little set- up time. We had a few custom rules with shipping, taxes (being a non profit for some virtual products), which after i got with a support rep on chat (slack) they helped me very quick. I love the customer service speed. Custom/complex rules and integrations you will need to understand both QBO and Mysync more in dept but for the average ecom/wordpress user its a 5-10 min set up.

Cons

The labeling of the tabs. I also don't like how everything is on separate tabs. I would like it to be ajax so that I can do multiple things at once. Also, bulk editing or updating would be great.

MyWorks over oneSAAS or zappier

Simple to install, good documentation, works well and does what I need. This solution is better architected than the others.

Pros

All of the problems I had trying to use Zappier or oneSAAS were not a problem with MyWorks. I needed to create a line item for California Tax in QuickBooks vs using the actual tax process because I did not want to maintain more than 500 different tax locations. Also the ability to properly parse Stripe payments into matching individual payments, including stripe fees is a huge time saver.

Cons

Cost is a bit more than I wanted to pay. My store does a few hundred transactions per month and I would rather see a per transaction fee vs a 1000 plus fee.

Synching issues between MyWorks and QBO

This is the second syncing software we have used to bridge the gap between woo commerce and QBO and it seems to periodically change settings, tax codes ands SKUs numbers in our QBO database.

Pros

fast and efficient. easy to run. blah blah blah blah blah ...

It screws up products, tax codes, SKUs numbers in the syncing process with QBO
