Pros
I like the the easy use of using the app on my phone, the patient signature app feature is wonderful and convenient. I love that the app is not limited to physical therapy and that other healthcare professionals can collaborate with therapists so that there's more of a team approach to the patient's care. I was also quite impressed with the proactive customer service approach in which they repeatedly contacted me to ensure my question was answered.
Cons
There is definitely a learning curve in the beginning and also I wish that I wouldn't get inundated with general messages from other disciplines that don't pertain to me; if the software was a little more specific to each user in that sense, that would be more convenient.

Serves it purpose but does not keep up in pricing with other systems
We have been using Axxess for over 10 years. Back then, the options were limited and it was one of the first we demoed. I guess, they are too big to fail each client and will not care whether you stay or go. Their accounting person [sensitive content hidden] is so rule and does not care about client retention. I bet if they check their statistics, they will notice that clients are leaving in flocks (every demo I did with other companies told me that many Axxess users are switching). Don't think you are too big to fail, the time will come if you dont' value your clients.
Pros
We use just a limited number of features from the system. The user friendly interface and ease of scheduling.
Cons
Pricing... I have been looking at other software to switch from Axxess due to pricing. They are at least 3x as expensive as others. If you are in a process of looking for a new software, keep looking. There are more affordable options with similar features, and more (option to send faxes from the system, as an example)Slow in fixing the bugs.... I assume if they charge an arm and a leg for the services they should be faster in resolving glitches. They are not. The ticketing system is easy to use, but they take months at times to "fix" the issue, and then never fix.

A Challenging Software that does not meet it's description.
Not a good overall experience, at all. They did not live up to the commitments they made, and the customer service was bad. If it functioned as they promised then it might be all right, but we never experienced this. We do not recommend to other clients.
Pros
It hits some of the basic requirements, but it does not perform very well.
Cons
The software and updates are clunky. It does not manage claims well, and the customer service is terrible. Good luck getting a response from them in a timely manner. Many times, we had to call CMS or other entities to determine what the software was not doing. Highly frustrating to use this software.

Electronic Documentation for Homehealth
Prior to use of extensive version, this format has been easy to use, now I am not pleased with the extensive version

Very Poor Product Very Poor Service Do Not Recommend
This is the worst experience and has cost our company citations, money, employees, revenue, time, and much more. Please really do your research. They also have many "add on's" they get you with them then say oh yeah you have to pay extra for that! buyer beware. This company has very poor ethics and is managed and run poor. The CEO is obviously not interested in good business but only bottom line. We have contacted our attorney and the OIG, as well as BBB and Attorney General. It will be a long process but worth it to expose these poor practices.
Pros
There is truly nothing good to say or recommend. This product is a failure at every end. We have a lot of empty promises and tons of people who don't even understand their own product that say they will fix the issues and never do.
Cons
The software does not integrate with itself. They make multiple updates daily and do not tell the users and the updated to not function and make other parts of the system fail. We are not able to train anyone on the updates because we are never told about them. When we call customer service the people there don't know how the system works and every single time we are told "it's the browser you are using" weird how it's that every time but it's really not. It's actually your software not integrating. Your program doesn't speak to itself well. Your team does not understand individual State regulation and law, You force your own understanding of compliance and ethics through your software and this causes the company to receive citations when the State comes to audit. The state has advised us to get a new software and we are. As you know we can't switch that quickly with all of the changes. The customer service people are rude and not trained and unable to help, we are told the will "call or tell the supervisor" no one ever calls back. We have many charts we can't bill because we can't fix them. We even had a representative from the State of Colorado call you! you argued with HER!! what company does that! This is the worst company as far as customer service, product, ethics, values, practice, and overall anything

Constantly raising its prices
Started off good, but got way to expensive during the first year of using it.
Pros
The scheduling was very user friendly. Adding new clients and staff was quite effortless as well. Mobile app was kept updated
Cons
Every month our bill was increased, sometimes with no reason or explanation at all, other times was told it was maintenance fees each month, but why was it being increased?

dashboard is easy as well as layout of software is easy but other than that it is not worth the money.
Cons
crooks - charge more every month and keep finding ways to increase the monthly rate.. STAY AWAY!

I have noticed that the narrative notes are editable by other with admin rights. As I am the nurse signing for the information, others should not be able to change information. This is illegal.

Our agency consists of a main office as well as a branch office. We serve all types of patients. We began searching for another software after realizing that adding the point of care aspect of Allscripts would be very tedious and costly. We looked at several different home care software solutions before choosing Axxess Agencycore. We spent time carefully looking at all aspects of the software. Our goal was to find software that was user-friendly, easy to start up, as well as web based point of care. We found all these things to be true with Axxess, and to our surprise, Axxess was the most cost-friendly as well!
We implemented Axxess Agencycore as our patients were either admitted or reverted for care. Our users were able to quickly learn how to complete their notes, and scheduling became a breeze! My staff was happier because they could access the patient's charts at any time and they could either document with their tablet, notebooks, or netbooks while making visits or when they got home after seeing all the patients. Our order tracking also has become much easier with this system. We no longer have to use a notebook to record when orders were sent, and resent, and finally received.
As with any software, there were some initial and ongoing questions that came up. However, when I called the support line, there was always a friendly person on the other end of the line who was eager to help answer my questions. I can continue to call the support center if I have a question and there is no additional charge. Because of the Axxess software system, I can now schedule in a fraction of the time, QA all my employees documentation in one place, track the status of the notes done, and look at all my patients charts with no trouble. The reports for tracking and payroll aspects are also a huge benefit for me. Overall, I would rate Axxess Agencycore as the best software I have used in my 19 year home health career.

AXXESS is by far the most user friendly EMR for both nursing and office
Pros
Ease of use for nursing, billing and scheduling. The number of reports available to run is outstanding. Nurses love the app for their phones, everything is at that fingertips. AXXESS is ahead of the curve in technology with the announcement of AXXESSCARE - I do believe this will truly change health care and it's delivery providing excellent care to patients with a decrease in workload on office staff. I am proud to be a part of this exciting company!

Although we like the software it needs a lot of improvement.
It's a shame that every time we add a service like dde, evv, chaps we had to pay extra.
Pros
I believe this software it's somewhat easy to use. The service people are very nice and very helpful.
Cons
Most financial reports are not accurate. Also it needs improvement with frequency. We tried to schedule the frequency for OT and PT and because it was not on the Oasis it will not show up therefore bringing those little triangles at the left side of the screen up. Call several times about the financial reports and no one seems to know exactly how to read them.

Crooks basically
It takes too much effort to watch over these people who are not trust worthy at all. I plan on switching as soon as my contract is up. They renew contract for every little change you make to the agreement locking the client up for another whole year.
Pros
Software is decent but service and people working for the company aren't. Other than that most of the other software can do same things as well.
Cons
Accounting Department is a rip off - with really long wait times trying to get a hold of them. They overcharge every month!
they also force you to buy products that are not needed, i do not need Evv or dde but i need to purchase it and pay it every month to use the basic product which is total rip off.

Goodhope Healthcare is a fairly new agency. We looked into other software because our goal was to start using software from the first day we received our Medicare certification. Being new in business, cost and quality was important to us. We looked at and evaluated other software. We looked at their Terms and Conditions even after the trial period.
When the company is up and running, we will need a software that delivers everything and makes home health easy and affordable. Of course, being a new agency, we need a software company that will help us and grow with us. The other two systems that we tried cannot deliver all we needed.
When we discovered Axxess, the staff was friendly at first contact, which always make a good impression. They were able to meet all our needs, and they have been there to help and teach every time, even without cost. They worked us through everything and always reassured us that they could help with any issues that arose. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they are very supportive, and they are friendly to everybody. For any problem that we have had, they either have had the answer, or they have gone out of their way to find the answer.
With Axxess you do not need a large staff to run your agency, you can leave the country and still manage your company with your laptop. Axxess is user-friendly, you can learn Axxess quickly, and you care monitor every aspect of compliance issues with Axxess. We are very happy with Axxess and will not try any other software. We have found Axxess to be the best, and they have delivered everything that we have needed or will need.

Poor customer service, updates disabled the ability to use the tablet in the field.
This is not a good software for home health.
Cons
Poor customer service. I was on hold for over 2 hours. They implement updates at 3pm on a Friday when no assistance is available; they do not prepare users for the updates. Physician orders are impossible to do in the field, medication profiles cannot be updated and signed in the field on a tablet.

Great sales pitch
They promised everything when we first started with them but it has been a big disappointment.
Pros
It is easy to use. Forms are easy to fill out. It has a lot of reports. One of its features is a built in access to DDE.
Cons
Needs a lot of improvement. The reports need to be more specific. Last year we had to contact them to get specific information for our licensure report and it was supposed to be corrected by this year but it hasn't. We are waiting for them to pull out the information that we need

Easy to enter in profiles for patients and staff. Scheduling center is easy to use.
Cons
Unable to add notes under staff profiles. This would be a helpful feature to add so that the contacts you've made with this staff regarding scheduling, HR, etc could be documented and tracked.

Absolutely horrible customer service and major reliability issues.
Do not waste your money and your time on this company. I would not recommend this software to even my competitors. I have had much success using Kinnser.
Pros
It was easy getting in touch with a sales team and they were very eager to start services. What follows afterwards is a whole different story.
Cons
Expect to wait over 45 min to 60 min for anyone to answer their phones. Worst customer service from an "established" company. Major glitches with the software. Hours of clinical charting disappeared and nonrecoverable due to changes with the new COP. The new Medicare COP was announced in 2017, yet in 2018 the software is yet to be reliable.

Change is Hard, Axxess Remains the Best
Pros
Ease of use and compliance are top of mind. The recent changes to the software are great for companies that want to improve compliance.
Cons
I wish Axxess had a hospice product. We are forced now to use a hospice software that sucks. Communications about upcoming changes can be improved too.
