Useful Marketplace
Pros
We seamlessly utilized the platform's marketplace features to offer tasks to freelancers. Once accustomed, the interface proved user-friendly, making task allocation and communication effortless. Notably, the platform facilitated real-time task tracking and ensured transparent financial oversight. It significantly enhanced our daily management and collaboration.
Cons
We encountered a language barrier challenge, which we successfully navigated. Setting up the platform and explaining its usage to freelancers demanded detailed planning. Moreover, configuring the workflows was a collaborative effort involving platform executives, occasionally causing some setup delays.

WorkSuite works for me
Pros
It's an intuitive platform that is flexible and able to customize to our company's unique needs. Support is usually responsive to help tickets.
Cons
We had some issues updating Workflows and needed to ask for help.
Reasons for Switching to Worksuite
Onboarding and recruiting were customizable. Task templates were a big plus for setting up our projects. Contractor database is easy to access to see profiles, manage projects and create invoices/payments. Matching contractors to work and managing work is simple.Response from Worksuite

Not good. No customer support. Send an email and await a response. Not acceptable.

Database organization
Fantastic customer service! I could easily book a one-on-one customer support session online and ask questions. I never felt like an idiot asking questions, I was always taken seriously, and everything was explained really well. I feel that the DropBox Sign (previously HelloSign) works really well and I love that I can get an email every time an Agreement is filled out.
Pros
I like that your Customer Service is so responsive and easy to meet with. I never felt like my questions are ever unanswered and I've had several brainstorming sessions via video chat that have been super helpful. I like that I can manipulate the filters to my liking.
Cons
I dislike how the resumes require downloading. I much prefer when they are embedded for a quick view. I now have a work around but it's very frustrating to click the back button and lose your search results. The weird glitch with the "sharing profile" option that made me lose half my database temporarily was a bit panic-inducing. I don't really use that feature (I think I thought it was something else), so it's not a dealbreaker that was just a tough day. I do like that I can change the filters but they can't be used again with the same name, which doesn't help with new versions of a database overhaul. I wish the "Skills" section could be manipulated on our end. For example, it doesn't have all the languages we need to list for our super vendors, so I have to create a tagging workaround. I also wish the "Skills" section was more user-friendly on the user side. I also wish I could make a more elaborate Workflow that could branch a little better. I also tried implementing Zapier with Worksuite and/or SmartSheet but it was too limiting for what I needed to do.

Overall Worksuite has been useful, but it would be great to see a lot more streamlining of the process and the interface.
Pros
The payments tab is fairly easy to use, though it would be useful to see who the invoice approver is at a glance so you don't have to click into the assignment to find that info.
Cons
Our teams are struggling with getting freelancers through the many (sometimes redundant) steps that need to happen for a Worksuite Pay assignment to be live. The interface is not very intuitive for freelancers and managers are often spending large amounts of time walking freelancers through every step of the process, even if freelancers have been through the process in the past. For example, on freelancers' dashboards they can see all assignments where the onboarding workflow has been completed, but it's not obvious where their 'in progress' assignments are. On the manager side of things, I have to click through several different screens to get to the 'full details' of an assignment, which is one of the things I look at most frequently. In general it would be great to have fewer steps to get to the necessary information.

unparalleled freelancer management
Worksuite has been nothing but a positive partner for our business. Their responses are timely, their software is responsive, and there have been many quality of life updates since our initial implementation.
Pros
Workflows, custom fields and analytics help us keep a close eye on week to week performance of our onboarding teams. Being able to look at that data regularly in an easy to parse format is a gamechanger for our business
Cons
Initial setup is complicated. Making custom fields and workflows from the group up has a bit of a learning curve, as the workflows can be very powerful in what they do. Additionally, some changes made to workflows are unable to be done without assistance from the worksuite team.

Great value for money
The customer service has been amazing and whatever we have asked they have done for us.
Pros
I like the onboarding capabilities the most. We need an easy way for people to apply to work with us. It is easy to see what stage everyone is at. It has saved us many hours compared to doing it on email.
Cons
Sometimes it is harder to navigate and get our team to update it. I would like to highlight what I have added to someones profile vs what they have done themselves under skillsets.

Easy to Learn, Easy to Use
Pros
Contractors tell us it's easier to use than our previous payment system. It's easy to use and payments are prompt.
Cons
Having to create a new payment task for each assignment for each writer, rather than adding each writer one time and allowing them to invoice for each assignment.

Helpful automated workflow tool
Transparency, automation, consistency in process
Pros
Coming from a decentralized, non-automated process to worksuite has been VERY helpful for our team. The team needs the transparency and automation to be the most productive/efficient.
Cons
There are a few views that feel unnatural and I dont quite know how to navigate or find the same information 2x, but I know that the info is there, but I just need to search sometimes...

Slate Review of Worksuite
The overall experience has been a good one. Freelancers appear to be happy with the visibility they now have and we are happy with the onboarding and payment process.

Worksuite great for contractor management
Pros
Customer support is very responsive. Allows for end-to-end contractor management, from onboarding to payments to task assignment.
Cons
Some of the functionality takes some getting used to in terms of understanding how it works, but I wouldn't say it's much more difficult than other software platforms.

This system is very confusing for managing freelancers.
Pros
I like that you can search the contractor database for people who have already been onboarded.
Cons
Ensuring you've hit complete and tagged the right person across many projects can be confusing for our users, which sometimes results in payments going out late.

Super customizable, perfect for our unique business needs.
Obviously the platform itself is great, but if we're being honest - a great product is nothing without a great team. We are lucky enough to have [SENSITIVE CONTENT] as our Solutions Architect and he is great at listening to what our actual needs are and then instantly and effortlessly piecing together what the strategy and execution would look like. You can literally see his brain working as you explain the different paint points that you are trying to solve for. Side note: I've had the pleasure of dealing with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] as well, he was equally brilliant and on top of things. If you ask me, the Worksuite team is definitely hoarding all of the top talent.
Pros
Worksuite doesn't do the "one-size-fits-all" approach. Nearly every feature is developed in such an easy-to-use, yet highly customizable way that it's kind of mind blowing. At the moment, we utilize their platform for automating a large part of onboarding for each of our independent contractors (think gig economy), and then maintaining compliance. I can see us utilizing more features as our needs increase which is another thing that makes this platform a huge plus. Moving our processes to Worksuite was a strategic move that will make scaling a piece of cake.
Cons
It would be nice if we were able to have a kanban/ board type of view for managing workflows.

Impressed over and over again
The Shortlist team has gone above and beyond many times. Most recently I had a few urgent questions that I needed answered and Soobin Kang personally called me outside of typical business hours and made sure I got everything I needed figured out. He continues to check in and make sure that my experience is nothing but the best. The product is amazing, but the customer service is even better. I can't say enough great things about the Shortlist team.
Pros
It is like a dream come true. I needed a product like this for many months and finally decided on Shortlist. Shorltist is everything I needed from a contractor management software. they keep improving and listening to their customers and I am always impressed.
Cons
The cons, not many cons here. The only thing I would say is its so secure that sometimes It can take a little bit to log in if you forgot your password like myself:) But I ultimately look at this as a positive as Shortlist is holding lots of sensitive information. So security is a huge plus.

A True End-to-End Workforce Management Platform
We set out to build our own solution but were fortunate enough to come across Shortlist before we made a decision. Shortlist solved our immediate need as well as gave us features we heavily utilize but had not previously considered, let alone had the budget and runway to build our own features such as Talent Pools.
There has not been much need for customer support based on our experience, but the few times we have needed to get in touch with Shortlist we've been impressed and our needs quickly met.
In short, you'd be crazy to build your own software because Shortlist has already built the features and functionality and offers their solution for a monthly subscription.
Pros
Simplicity to get started, consistent updates, improvements, and new features are released. Software has the look and feel of a proper enterprise application.
Cons
It requires some effort to maintain your database and keep things current but this is to be expected if you have a lot of activity.

Lots of capabilities, but under delivered and poor customer service
Endless issues with payments and keeping track of the status of payments (some payments marked as paid even when the contractor doesnt actually have funds).
Most of all, very unsatisfactory customer service. Often no support at all.
Pros
Lots of functionality. But poor use of features
Cons
Payments are incredibly slow, and never on time. Takes 2-3 weeks to process and with holidays can delay payments longer. Customer services is UNREACHABLE at times, only a chat function with NO phone number to contact. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Great tool to manage your partners!
The team have been excellent and really accommodating to our requirements. Using Shortlist will allow us to better manage and engage with our Partners but it will also impact our internal teams giving them the visibility needed and helping them to deliver for our customers.
Pros
Firstly it's so simple to use. I also love the fact that unlike a lot of systems, it's so customisable which will be important to a lot of companies.

Shortlist.... Any other site you need for your payment needs!
Overall i highly recommend shortlist for any contractor!
Pros
A user friendly website. While alot of people overlook this aspect I want to point out just how important it is for a site to be userfriendly. In a business there are several aspects of the workflow that need to work together and when you use a program that isn't designed to be used by all members of staff things can get bogged down very quickly. Another pro is definitely the template selection that is baked into the software so it can be detailed to a specific project you had in mind.
Cons
Maybe creating a system that allowed for certain reminders to be sent to staff that would be helpful. Overall I cannot think of any certain con's for this site.

Shortlist Review
We use Shortlist as our supplier, venue and freelancer database allowing the team to search based on country of operation, experience, industry and many other factors. Suppliers upload all relevant insurance and marketing documentation when they on-board to help the team make decisions and reduce email traffic in the planning stages. Post event the team review the suppliers helping the rest of the team make better informed decisions during the next search.
Pros
The software is incredibly intuitive and requires very little training. The layout is user friendly and is structured to get search results as fast as possible. Very editable on-boarding templates to suit different suppliers and freelancers.
Cons
Like all platforms there are pieces that need changing to suit our business, Shortlist have worked very hard to make developmental changes for us and continue to do so.

I love Shortlist! Great Features: Versatile and Easy to Use!
Pros
I use Shortlist.co to screen, contract and source out my freelancers in my promotional marketing agency. The app is extremely versatile and easy to use. The set-up was tailored (somewhat) for my marketing company. I am very happy with the software and when there is a concern or issue, customer service was very quick (via chat and email) to respond.
Cons
They do not have a mobile yet. I am being told it is coming soon in 2018. It's difficult as most of my users are on mobile and I am ecstatic for the launch of the mobile app.
