Perfect Match of Capability and Efficiency
I have found the Kanban Tool effective enough to build our business (and personal) process steps around it's natural capabilities so that our teams can work on multiple boards with the proper access protections. The single-sign on capability makes it easy to ensure authentication and convenient log-in. Having full control over columns, swimlanes, card types and card templates makes each board unique in how it addresses the need of that board. The Power-Ups are also really nice optional elements that add capability with full control for each board independently.
Pros
I've been a user of Kanban Tool for many years now. It was initially selected to support a high school competitive robotics team, but it quickly became my recommendation for my personal and corporate Kanban needs. The standout capability that I like over competing tools (such as MS Planner) is the convenience of taking a tasking email sent to me and forwarding it to a specific board with optional identifiers for swimlane, column, card type, assigned user, priority, and due date. This ensures that no task sent by email ever gets lost and is positioned to be processed immediately. It also allows me to use Siri to create tickets throughout my day.
Cons
There's nothing that I would change about the Kanban Tool.

Useful and practical
Pros
The tool is very easy to use and understand. Also, one of the best advantages of the different boards is that are very visual so for managers it's quick and simple to understand how's the exact situation and make conclusions from it.
Cons
The necessity to add every different user manually to the board to be able to asign specific tasks slows you down a bit.

Basic Kanban
Earlier this year, I was trying to switch from Trello so I tried out different Kanban tools. While I believe Kanban Tool would have been great for an individual user, it did not meet the needs of my large team due to price and limited functionality as compared to other tools.
Pros
I LOVE the Kanban style of project management boards
Cons
The boards were too basic and did not offer advanced functionality like Trello
Too expensive per user

The best tool for your business!
I have had a great experience with Kanban Tool. I recommend it to everyone. The free version is great, but definitely worth upgrading! It's such a useful tool and has saved me so much time and money!
Pros
I like that I can see the tasks easier, ,and my team members can move them as we all complete our individual tasks. Its so much easier to see the progress my team is making and know if we are head or behind on things.
Cons
I wish there was a way to make the tasks full screen when you click on them, so that I can see everything a little better. The pop up is nice, its just not as wide as I would like.

Love this tool!
I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an inexpensive and efficient project management tool!
Pros
What I love most about Kanban Tool is how easy it is to use. The platforms design is simple, making task management easier. The drag/drop functionality and customizable swim lanes allow me to organize tasks exactly the way I want.
Cons
I wish that Siri could add to the board without having Siri send an email to the board. It works fine but adds an extra step to my process.

The tool that takes your projects to another nicel
It really is one of the best project management tools, managing tasks has never been so easy
Pros
The most impressive thing about this tool is that it is super easy to manage projects and tasks, users adapt very quickly and easily to using it
Cons
I don't really like the way of displaying the tasks, it's kind of obsolete. I really think it can be made a little more suitable for today compared to others.

Great, reliable, user friendly product
Fast, reliable and easy to use, easy to customize, overall very user friendly. I really liked that it's more about function than aesthetics (even though I really love the way it looks, it maybe is just not for everyone)
Pros
Ease of use and ease of transfer from task managment apps, very nice customization features, you can make it look the way you can really overview all the tasks for work. I really like the power-ups, add-ons that make it easier to work on and keep track of tasks.
Cons
You can't choose which swimlane or column is the 'Completed' section of the table. This way, I get some negative due dates on tasks, even though I put it to the Completed swimlane, but since I can't make that section the finished tasks section, I have to manually delete the due date.

Excellent Light-to-Medium Weight Tool
I love this tool. It's exactly what I need, and customization is a breeze. If you're new to task boards and/or have a smaller, simpler team or workflows, start with this before you dive into the deep end with Atlassian or other products, especially if your focus is more on "seeing the big picture" than keeping a detailed log of work across a large number of team members
Pros
It does everything I need from a Kanban Board out of the box, does so intuitively, and does not get bogged down in optimizations/extra features. However, if you want them, they're easy to implement.
Cons
It feels more like it was designed and documented by engineers rather than sales staff, and its no-frills design is a big selling point for me, but others may disagree. It's "simple out of the box, opt-in to additional features" also means a little more upfront configuration, but I still think it's good design. A few minor nice-to-have features (colored tags, saving multiple filtered views) might be missing or paywalled, but I haven't explored all the possibilities in their documentation yet.
Reasons for Switching to Kanban Tool
Free out of the box use of swimlanes, expand/collapse swimlanes and columns, easy filters, splitting columns into sub-columns, expanding width of columns to be more than 1-card wide, etc. A lot of the clever visualization ideas I've seen in books like "Making Work Visible" and "Personal Kanban" are possible here that would be impossible or a nightmare to configure in other products I've tried.- Industry: Information Technology & Services

Great Project Tracking Tool!
I am very pleased with this and have asked the [sensitive content hidden]of the company to keep this on permanently.
Pros
Very easy to use and work through. I especially like that you can personalize so much on it, even the background image.
Cons
The only suggestion I have is adding a simple total for each column so you can visually see how many projects are left in each stage.

Kanban Tool Review
Overall, Kanban tool is an incredibly useful tool for managing projects and I find it a great help in my work.
Pros
Kanban Tool is an incredibly useful tool for project management. I particularly liked its ability to visualize tasks and the progress of a project. The visual cards on the board make it easy to see which tasks have been completed, who is working on a task and what tasks are coming up in the future. I also like the ability to create custom boards and prioritize tasks. It makes it easy to clearly see the progress of a project and what needs to be done to complete it. The notifications also keep me up to date with the progress of a project which is really helpful. I also find the collaboration features easy to use and they help to keep everyone on the same page
Cons
Honestly, I haven’t found anything I have disliked about Kanban Tool.

Immediate Visibility into my workflow
I was looking for a tool to create an actual view of my production environment and good flow metrics. In a very short period of time I have created a view that matches the flow of my work and is also able to adapt. The ability to create workstations for each phase of work and to subdivide those into working and waiting states has given me positive control of my orders. The ability to create swimlanes for expedited work and to visually highlight blockages makes it possible to better visualize the real state of our work.
Pros
Ability to have multiple tiers within a column that allows me to build out a real view of my process.
Clarity of the view on screen to improve visibility of the process
Potential to present the board on a larger screen in the workspace to provide live visibility of the state of work
Initial reporting that provides basic metrics
Cons
I would like a little more reporting granularity so I can see and analyze times work spends sitting and show that in a graphical way.
I would like a tighter restriction on WIP limits. It is present but not enforced.

Keeping it simple supports better productivity
I enjoy using Kanban Tool to keep my day easily prioritized as well as see what other tasks need attention.
Pros
Very intuitive features enabled me to get started quickly and it's extremely easy to customize what you only want to see, without being overburdened by too many bells and whistles that would distract from doing actual work. I really like the emailed work summary of how I have interacted with the board each day.
Cons
It's very easy to add too many work tasks on the board because I don't know what is really needed. I'd be interested if the tool can help me become more accountable in making progress on only the highest priorities, which is sometimes difficult if I don't have a real due date. I'll also try using some of the available board filters.

A great tool for taking the lessons from the software development world into other domains.
Pros
When working as software development manager with multiple teams juggling many priorities and interruptions, I found the Kanban methodology extraordinarily beneficial in helping to organize multiple complex work streams. This affordable Kanban tool provides the same benefits for managing my personal affairs and volunteer organization commitments, by helping me easily break down often daunting/unpleasant epics into manageable chunks and defining the custom workflow I need to most effectively actually progress/accomplish them.
Cons
No shortcomings yet for my use but will update if I uncover any.

Great and easy to use!
Kanban Tool is real Kanban. I use it for manage flow my own load or work and limit my work in progress (wip). The first thing I do every day is to check Kanban and planning the day.
Pros
Very helpful tool to organize and prioritize your task easily.
First time using Kan Ban and It’s very easy to get introduced in the Agile tool.
Today we have a lot of apps, and opportunities to work with, but some are not helpful, that’s not the case. I’m using it since the very first moment I joined. Happy user.
Cons
The free version only two boards, and I'd like to have more, but It's easy to solve it 😊

Flexible, Intuitive Time and Task Management
I was recently on the hunt for a task management tool that I could run separate from the commercial products used at my workplace. This would allow me to add in personal tasks and lower level tasks that weren't appropriate to track in the enterprise boards I was a part of.
I came upon Kanban Tool and was immediately impressed by the set up options; At a basic level, you already have access to basic, time and event driven Kanban boards, as well as several types of team boards for collaboration. From there, you can further customize the columns, number of lanes, and functions. You can import and export tasks through .csv and and calendar, making everything portable.
In practice, I was impressed with the simplicity of the cards on the board. They can be created by color, helpful when trying to manage a bunch of different workflows like I am. At a glance, I can also see the priority, days until due (or past due days!), and the number of sub-tasks within a card. That's right - You can set up checklists WITHIN the card, which is hugely useful. If you like to have a card for each subtask, you can do that to, and mark subsequent tasks as blocked until the subtask is complete. I also enabled a cool extra that causes cards to "fade" over time, giving another visual cue to things that aren't getting done.
Time tracking for each task was a bit of a revelation. Once I got in the habit of shifting every task I was working (The timer starts as soon as you put it in the "in progress" zone), I got really good info on what type of tasks were chewing up time, and even on the fact that I was working on a lot of things throughout the day that I didn't think to track.
Finally, Kanban Tool offers what they call "Power-ups", which are basically plugins. The ones I have been really excited about are the ability to attach files to Dropbox or Onedrive, a custom Chromecast feature that allows the board to be cast up to a TV (Great for my family chore board in particular!), and one that allows you to manipulate checklists without opening cards.
In the end, the only real niggle I had with the product was that while I can manually arrange cards in the To Do area (I use multiple swim lanes), one lane can't be longer than the others.
I am an enthusiastic product researcher, so I was a bit surprised when my productivity management hunt just lost steam after starting with Kanban Tool. For flexibility and daily use, I couldn't ask for more.
Pros
Flexibility, extensibility, intuitive interface.
Cons
Not being able to fully manually arrange to do items.

Managing daily work
Pros
The ability to color-code an put into customized swimlanes, gives a great overview of tasks and deadlines. The ability to take notes in tasks provides the option to have both an agile management tool and a document handling system in one place.

Great tool to disseminate and monitor team tasks
great tool overall.
Pros
Kanban is used by many departments for tasks.
We are able to track and disseminate tasks to team members and know were additional resources are needed. Very intuitive UI interface.
Cons
unable to sort tickets visually, search tool can be improved much more to do quick and more in depth search.

Great tool for productivity.
Improved efficiency and team output.
Pros
It's a great tool to improve team productivity. Whether you're in software development, sales, or marketing, it's awesome. You can easily view everyone's tasks on one board and then assign new ones, rate tasks based on difficulty and time needed, set deadlines, and more.
Cons
It is the best tool for project tracking and staying on task and productive. The only little complaint I have is that unless you log in, you can't easily see all the changes that have been made.
