Making Governance So Much Easier
Installing DecisionTime has been a revelation. We planned to phase it in over one School term, but the Governors found it so easy to use we were able to switch over early. The front end is simple to use, but it offers all the functionality we need. We are already finding ourselves adjusting and modernising our board processes in response to the product. Board papers can be made available to Board Members as they are finished with packs not being held up in their entirety waiting for that last report. The team at DecisionTime are unfailingly helpful, responding quickly to queries and keeping in touch with regular reviews after implementation.
Pros
This product is intuitive and easy to use for both organisers and meeting attendees. It is reliable, with no problems accessing it, and secure. New Board Members can be trained in half an hour . Action points can be tracked through the task facility. The customer service is second-to-none.
Cons
There is some lack of flexibility around how you make meetings visible to Board members not due to attend and roll out board member changes to all future meeting attendee lists (we plan our annual schedule 18 months ahead) - but DecisionTime are working on the solutions!

Easy to use system with great customer support
From both a meeting organiser and attendee perspective, I've found the sytem easy to use. The ability to view meeting papers offline is also very useful.
Pros
The system is so intuitive, we have found little or no training is needed for new users.
Cons
It took us a while to figure out how to get our Excel spreadsheets uploaded to Decision Time correctly. The spreadsheet would load, but not be legible. We have resolved that now though by modifying our spreadsheets.
Reasons for Switching to Decision Time Meetings
One major consideration for us was the mixed technical ability on our Board and Senior Management Team. At the time, we looked at seven different systems. We chose Decision Time as it was the only system we felt ticked the boxes of our top three considerations: Ease of Use; Pricing Structure; Ease of Integration.Response from Decision Time
Thanks for the feedback Val. Whilst we were delighted to be chosen among the six alternatives that were also considered, we never rest on our laurels. We'll always strive to ensure the system is very easy to use because we recognise how important this attribute is to our clients.
We're looking forward to sharing some new features with you shortly.

Seamless implementation of Decision Time
After using Decision Time for a couple of months, we are extremely pleased with the experience we have had so far. It is far superior to our previous system; easier to use, good end user experience and great working relationship with Decision Time.
Pros
• Easy to use.
• Quick and seamless implementation.
• Straightforward Active Directory Integration setup.
• Great support from the Decision Time team.
• Decision Time are easy to work with and take feedback onboard.
Cons
One slight disadvantage is that it can be quite time-consuming managing both Groups and Committees separately. If these were managed together, it would reduce the overhead of having to add members to Groups then additionally to Committees.
Reasons for Switching to Decision Time Meetings
Decision Time Meetings was chosen over the other three products due to its ease of use, quick implementation timeline and in particular the no pressure approach that we have received from Decision Time from the first email to present day.- Industry: Nonprofit Organization Management

Decision time
Decision time gives the ability to store and search back through previous papers which is useful. Users are able to quickly access papers and the note function has proved really useful giving us a whole new way of working, cutting down on meeting time as questions are asked and raised prior to meetings.
Pros
I like the presentation and the ease of setting agendas. The ability to drag and drop papers in means that its super fast and having the ability to move the agenda around is great.
Cons
A search function within the resource section would be useful.
Sometimes notes are missed if users forget to send a notification to the report owner so it would be good to have this done automatically.

Simple, easy to use and effective
It has been a huge admin relief.
Its an easy to use piece of software that keeps everything in one place.
You can add and take things away quickly.
you can set permissions which helps with confidential items
Board members and staff have picked up using it straight away.
Pros
The implementation went very well, it was very easy to set up individuals and areas needed.
it is visually very good to look and at and very easy to navigate around.
the ease of adding papers and taking them away.
having permissions to allow Board members or staff to see some papers and not others
Cons
We had a couple of things we wanted adding like a discussion option for an item but the support team were great and were able to implement this for us.
