Bonfire is a cloud-based strategic sourcing solution. Bonfire is designed to tackle the end-to-end sourcing workflows for various industries including indirect sourcing for manufacturing, CPGs, Retail and Hospitality, non-profits, as well as public-sector health care, higher education, school districts and municipalities. Key features include online bidding, eSourcing, contract management, and performance management. Bonfire offers an online portal with which users can manage vendor communication, post bid opportunities, receive submissions, complete evaluations, and oversee vendor performance. The solution offers evaluation tools and workflows such as online scorecards, browser-based evaluations, automatic score tabulation, reverse auctions, and pricing scenario analysis. Contract documents and key milestones are managed in a centralized location where users can track reminders, expiring contracts, and renewal dates. Configurable performance surveys can also be rolled out to collect feedback from stakeholders. Bonfire eSourcing offers evaluation tools such as questionnaires, bidding tables and multi-category decisions that allow users to collect and analyze data. Data is presented in contextual views for side-by-side comparison and analysis. Higher-level metrics are tracked with real-time visual dashboards to track workload, progress, team performance, and timelines. Support is provided via a self-help knowledge base, email, an online help desk and over the phone.

Client User of Bonfire Review

The Bonfire team of customer service reps, technology experts, and managers has been great! They are quick to respond right in the Bonfire program if they see you looking at something new to your project. The team consistently checks-in with you to ensure your experience with Bonfire is going well and if you need any additional assistance. They also offer updated training via distance learning that has been very helpful.

Pros

Ease of use not only for me but also the proposers and my evaluation committees. Bonfire allows the flexibility for me to set up my projects in a way that meets "my needs." It can handle very simple projects to very complex projects. The built-in functions for reports and tabulations removed the risk of "human-error," which creates better success and transparency. I can easily manage my projects from the first steps of creation to the last day of the contract through their Contract Management module.

Cons

Bonfire is phenomenal, however there is only one thing I would like to see in the Bid Tables and that is to have the ability to award a single product to multiple proposers. Whether that is set up to allow for a "winner" and a "backup winner," or award to the top 3 proposers, it is a situation that occurs with some of my most complex projects due to various pricing areas offered to proposers.

BonFire Procurement System

I was given an intake module to use. We were able to create a process with it that works well with what we do, which is pre procurement activities. BonFire customer service is excellent. They add new features to the software all the time.

Pros

Easy to use; a lot of training videos provided. Reporting tool available. "Data Dump."

Cons

The dates are in European format, even though software is used in America.

Great Customer Service

Pros

Spending Made Simplify.

Loved this software the main reason to use it is to manage my RFPs. Managing documentation, and keeping track of different bids saves a lot of time. Great software pricing would recommend going for them.

Pros

Easy to use saves a lot of time and cost. Simplifies purchasing and spending power. Onboarding a new member is a piece of cake now. Simpler to explore different bids.

Cons

Nothing to dislike we have no issues with them, Everything worked as expected.

Bonfire Review

Bonfire is an extremely helpful tool for both receiving bids and evaluating them.
It helps facilitate evaluations with easy to use scorecards and allows you to set deadlines.
Inviting evaluators to participate and use bonfire is also seamless. Our evaluators have also given us positive feedback. They like the ease of use and that they can easily evaluate bids from anywhere through the use of internet and not have to carry a significant amount of binders as previously required. The required comments section also allows us to provide better detailed debriefings to unsuccessful vendors. Uploading criteria for evaluation is simple and fast. Our organization is extremely pleased with Bonfire. It has helped us save time and allows us better control and compliance with the BPS guidelines.
