About Pulpstream

Pulpstream is a cloud-based application development solution that helps automate workflows for human resources (HR) and safety managers. Let's take Leave of Absence as an example. On average, it takes companies eight hours to manage a single protected leave of absence request. This is due the highly regulated nature of employee leave. HR managers have to send multiple documents to be signed, adjust payroll for the duration of the leave, track leave time and return dates in a calendar app, and try their best to keep track of all this paperwork and scheduling or risk non-compliance. With Pulpstream, an employee completes a leave request form online, and Pulpstream uses machine learning algorithms to analyze internal company policies as well as state and federal regulations to suggest the appropriate leave. It then populates these documents and sends them to the employee. HR managers have a bird's-eye-view throughout the process to track milestones and see if there's a need for human intervention. Meanwhile, with numerous integrations, Pulpstream can automatically change pay in a payroll system for the duration of the leave and set calendar reminders for return to work dates. Using Pulpstream's no-code platform, if you can draw a process on a piece of paper, you can automate it.

Overall Interstate Batteries and Pulpstream have had a successful partnership!

Pros

The value that this product has brought to Interstate Batteries Inc is inceredible. We went from having to manage everything by hand through spreadsheets, emails, phone calls, etc... Pulpstream has delivered a tool to help our company get ahead of risks in our system, track KPI's, Metrics, Generate reports, and assign corrective actions real time!

Cons

This software is somewhat limited on the App version (mobile). there is a great deal I am able to view and customize on the web based version that are not applicable on the app version. This prevents the EHS team to show metrics real time while we are out in the field.

It has been positive. The system is simple to use and a game changer to go from paper to...

Pros

Pulpstream gave us the opportunity to deliver complex solutions (workers comp claims and worksite safety) that spans thousands of users with help from IT associates who never had any formal programming background. It was simple to use and has great flexibility and is agile in customizing workflows. This has allowed our end user to walk through our new process one time and be self sufficient.

Cons

As in building any new solution some of the desired features were not out of the box efficent as possible.
