Flexible and Thorough, Always Getting Better
The product, support and overall company have been fantastic to work with. The are invested in our success and respect our feedback. Awesome experience.
Pros
Existing policies plus the ability to creat custom policies. Easy to tune out false positives. Forensic tooling is the best in the space.
Cons
Tuning noisy alerts can take time and knowledge but it is worth the investment to learn the product and get actionable alerts.

Horrendously terrible, awfully buggy Kubernetes cluster level and application monitoring tool
We are monitoring some applications only monitoring things like http request count, response time, max response time, memory and CPU utilization. We have realized minimal business advantages as most of the metrics that Sysdig provides are not trustworthy, have no documentation, and are often false flags when compared with other monitoring tools.
Pros
The UI is clean, colorful, and refreshing. The graphs load quickly when searching through long periods of time. Alerting API is well documented and useful.
Cons
Insanely buggy, will often say that valid metrics are no longer supported. The messages will resolve with a reload of the dashboard. Often crashes on initial dashboard view, will simply say no data is available. The application level data such as http requests and response time have absolutely zero documentation and create tons of false alerts often. The host down alerts do not work properly either and create tons of alerts creating a lot of toil for developers.

Sysdig Review
Pros
Customer support received with Sysdig has been second to none. The amount of innovation and features they continue to produce has been great. The compliance options for cloud posture management really help provide insight into what we can do better and helps us prioritize next tasks.
The alerting and monitoring really helps provide a better security posture for the company.
Cons
Requires a bit of tuning and upkeep, but once you get the hang of it, things go quickly. Would also like to see more customization options in regards to licensing. For some workloads we only need a small piece of what the platform offers, but you need to pay for a full license either way.

Kubernetes integrated Secruity and Monitoring
excellent
Pros
Out of the box integration features, kubernetes visibility and troubeshooting aspects, captures are invaluable
Cons
Rapid release cycyle of solutions, constant changes to deployment specs, little more of backward compatability will go a long way to sustain this better.
