Good for the very small people.
Overall, very good. Clear picture, clear sound quality. Intuitive to use for me and clients.
Pros
Free version - allows me to continue to work with the most vulnerable of people, knowing it's secure, HIPAA compliant (although not a thing in the UK, it speaks to the security) and has been more reliable than the paid version of another well-known platform. Thank you doxy - please continue to help us really small helpers who are helping those who can't afford any extra costs.
Cons
Sometimes connection is dodgy - postponement of appojntments has been necessary.

Works but with many inconveniences
Pros
It seems like a free service, so it's an option for appointment based meetings
Cons
but I have always had consistent issues for connectivity for both video and audio. Lagging has been a common issue so I would prefer other applications.

Doxy.me is the only telehealth/teletherapy tool for me!
Pretty close to perfect. I get great service, very few call issues (which are generally an internet issue and NOT a Doxy issue), and for the price I get a TON of great tools and abilities.
Pros
I love everything about Doxy. The price, the ease of use, the ability to communicate with patients en mass via waiting room announcements, and the ability for my patients to come into the waiting room for links to coping skills and important research documents. I can collect payments right through Doxy via Stripe, collect patient feedback via Dokbot, share information via screen share, and file transfer. Doxy provides analytics and meeting histories, and connects you will tools like therapeutic exercises with reminders, group calls, and electronic teleconsent with signatures.
Cons
Honestly, there's nothing I "like least". I would say the one thing I would consider an improvement would be to add a reminder sound (ding!), which can be set for each call individually (or not at all) by the provider, to remind both patient and provider that it's time to "wrap it up." And while this would be a wonderful addition, I definitely don't consider it a deal breaker.
Reasons for Choosing Doxy.me
I first switched because I became aware that Doxy provides a static address, which allows my patients to bookmark and easily return to Doxy every week. All the other features and bonuses are why I stay.Switched From

Doxy is the most professional and HIPAA compliant platform for counselors and doctors.
Pros
Doxy is HIPAA compliant, and the platform is easy to use for myself and my clients. Clients do not need to download anything or enter personal information. They click on the secure link that I provide to them. Our connection is reliable unless one of us has WIFI issues (which is not Doxy's fault). I am thrilled with Doxy and feel it is more professional, protective, and secure than other platforms.
Cons
I love Doxy! Doxy is the most professional and HIPAA compliant platform I have found for counselors and doctors.

Great, very little issues, occasional disconnect but not sure if it's on the clients end or not.
Pros
Secure, easy to use, good connectively, no complaints from clients.
Cons
Please add "touch up my appearance" to the video settings. It blurs out a lot of the wrinkles, pock marks, signs of aging, and sun damage! :)

Recommend Doxy.me without reservation
It just works, and my clients report the same. GOOD JOB! And thanks. I've used both the free version and premium version. Premium offers online sessions with two clients, e.g., a couple, in two different sites, e.g., work places during their breaks. It's always reliable, always user friendly, and HIPPA compliant.
Pros
Doxy.me is a HIPPA compliant user friendly, reliable application for telehealth.
Cons
No complaints. I guess if the premium version were free, that would be even better!

Practice and Patient Friendly Telemedicine
We originally transitioned during COVID when many offices were closed and we needed a telemedicine platform that was easy to use and easy to implement. Doxy.me was both of these things and we have continued to use it even though many of our patients have returned to the office for visits. I would recommend Doxy.me due to ease of use and ease to implement.
Pros
Doxy.me provides an easy to use telemedicine platform for both the practice and the patient to use. Process is as simple as being notified that a patient is in the virtual waiting room and then logging in and initiating the patient visit.
Cons
Cost is a little higher than other platforms but still a good value for the money and for a platform that is so easy to use.

Doxy.me a wonderful platform
Overall this is a wonderful platform. I would recommend and have recommended to all of my colleagues providing telebehavioral health services. It is well worth the cost; very cost effective, and so easy to use for both the clinician and the client.
Pros
HIPPA Compliant, waiting room, ease of use, cost
Cons
Nothing about the site I don't like. Apparently it has a lot of capabilities I am not familiar with and need to become more familiar so that I can leverage the entire site for my telehelath practice.

VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS FOR MEDICAL TELEHEALTH
FANTASTIC...MORE THAN REASONABLY PRICED.
Pros
IT'S A SOLID, PREDICTABLE PROGRAM THAT'S VERY EASY TO USE, VERY RELIABE, GOOD QUALITY VIDEO, IT WAS OUR VIRTUAL PLATFORM OF CHOICE IN MARCH 2020 WHEN FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS HAD TO BE REPLACED WITH VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS. WE USE THIS PROGRAM QUITE HEAVILY AND EVEN MORESO WHEN WE ADDED PSYCHIATRIC TELEHEALTH MEDICATION EVALUATION AND FOLLOW UP SERVICES. NOT ONE PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THIS PROGRAM FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. I HIGHLY...HIGHLY....RECOMMEND IT.
Cons
NOTHING...THE PROGRAM WAS IMPROVED UPON WITH MORE FEATURES ADDED. IT IS VERY COMPEITITIVELY PRICED

Excellent platform for clinical care services
I've found it to be a great platform for my application. My clients were happy with its ease of use and clarity of sound and image as I have been. It has a variety of options which I haven't even begun to explore but intend to do so in the future.
Pros
I use this platform for providing clinical psychotherapy services to clients. It has been extremely reliable and consistent. The ease of login and use is superior and significant plus for me I used it daily for 8 hours straight during the COVID years and it never failed me. Internet provider now... well that's a different unrelated story. I had regular positive feedback from clients and families about their ease of use and quality.
Cons
I really did not experience any significant "Cons" about using Doxy.me. It has been a superior platform in my application.

Good for my small office
Pros
I am using the free version and it has added a lot to be able to offer this service to my patients. I have not seen the need to add the one with more features as this works for my small volume, but my partner that does more telemedicine uses the added values and likes the feature of waiting room communication. Great help to see the patient than just on the phone, helps keep infectious patients away from the well ones, also have some patients that are shut in and would not get to see at all without the service.
Cons
Occasionally if patient has poor internet will have patchy video. My elderly population at times is challenged by the use even though is super easy.

Psychotherapists perspective
I am most satisfied with the service afforded by Doxy.me
Pros
Reliability and ease of use for clients.
Cons
In the future we will have the ability to afford more of virtual and realistic presence. But, I am not certain this is necessary. This works and affords those in remote areas options.

Free and Easy - over the years
Pros
I've relied on Doxy for years. I chose it early on because it was free and HIPAA compliant. I have intended to switch to another platform that I pay for, but Doxy is consistent and easy to use - both for me and my clients - on any device, so I have not made the move.
Cons
I have no complaints. The free version does not include texting clients, so I use email, but I that is not a significant limitation for me.

Doxy is an excellent choice for telehealth users in small or private practices
Working from home to provide telehealth in a secure environment without my clients needing to be computer savvy.
Pros
Clients don't need to download or install software or know much about computers to be able to use this. Clients don't need to sign up on an email list and can use pseudonyms to check in if that is important to them for on-line work. Works from mobile devices (phones and tablets) as well as computers. HIPAA compliant. FREE for individual users; reasonable price for more bells and whistles.
Cons
I am only using the free version for now as I have another therapy software program that does the other functions, so I can't speak to what features it needs, since I am not paying for them/can't use them.Would like a free trial, of even a few days, to evaluate them, and from what I can tell you have to pay and sign up to do that with option of cancelling later. I want to see more clearly what I'd be paying for rather than have to cancel.
